Never used it myself. There are far better less crutchy perks out there I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Hopefully obsession becomes base into the game now to make tunneling occur less then it will in the following days to come.

I bearly use DS unless I see a pattern of tunneling. I have gotten confident in my abilities and I have been less annoyed with tunneling.

Same. I hardly ever get to use it since I'm not toxic and most good killers play around it anyway. Kind of a waste of a perk slot to me.

its rather sad that i play different as both survivor and killer if i see no obsession. That's how you know something's up.

Well if tunneling remains rampant people are still going to use it. Infact I might equip it in my main build for the first time in months as I believe itll occur much more often.

Eh I still think DS is going to get the same amount of use. Those players who accidentally deactivate it are just gonna keep it for their second hook.

Don't worry, killers will still complain about DS.
DS might have gotten neutered, but some players' abilitity to learn the game remains the same. They just got more wiggle room to camp and tunnel.

Killers who plan on tunneling from the start will continue to tunnel without caring if there is an obsession.

Some people will probably do that yeah but i can see people greeding for the gen thats near completion then when the killer comes back and knocks them back down again, i reckon you will see a few more dcs from those people :D
I havent been using ds for a couple months now really, been mixing my builds up alot but like others have said, every game needs to have an obsession no matter what or its just gonna be super easy to tunnel people outa the game.

So how was I able to tunnel someone who barely began to touch a gen yesterday then? They were lucky to have DS active still.
Seconds do not count as "progressing the game" on a perk which by definition was not strictly an anti tunnel perk. Also, tunneling occurs on 2nd hook, shouldn't that mean that DS should activate then too? Or do u only nit-pick scenarios in which do not benefit the killer?
Tired of the bs arguments/excuses as if the other side doesn't benefit from cutting corners and essentially abusing things on their end as well.

Nothing changed. SWF teams still will use this advantage. Who has active ds, that surv will go to disturb killer. Others will continue gens. Only changes for solo survivors.
I can see right now, after nerf people will write "DS still op, nerf unbreakable, SWF still uses this perk..." bla bla bla.

Can't wait til they take the aura reading off BBQ and Chili because I've read most people use it for the BP gains anyway.

And once all the DS scrublords have their crutch nerfed they'll realize that a slew of other perks are actually better than DS then we'll have a whole new catagory of stuff to complain about.

That's what I suggest as well. Right now that would be terrible because the killer has to assume, as usual, that everybody has OP DS. The newer version will be run way less because it's not abusable, which will cause there to be no obsession and the killer decides to tunnel because of that.

A meta that unequips ds because of a Nerf is a meta that will die to the killers excited to abuse no obsessions in the lobby. Ds nerfed yet still the best obsession perk. That is until the OoO buff..

I rarely even play dbd atm as it got boring af. However posts like these are my favorite and with that being said I'm gonna go out of my way to abuse the ######### out of ds on it's final days to enjoy me some post game rage. I look forward to finding out what's OP next because someone had a bad game so I can "abuse" that too 😂
