How Do You Organize A SWF Group On PC?

I know this is a basic question, but I am new to playing DbD on Steam. I previously played on console, and it was easy to organize teams through Xbox messages. Also, I tried to find this answer online, but I haven't had any luck with my search. Thanks!

I heard of the official DbD discord and people playing in the vcs there?
Though honestly I never tried, I'd be interested but I'm really bad at the game LOL.
