if Jason gets into the game, would anyone be mad if he's below A tier?
I am pretty sure at least 90% of the playerbase want jason in the game and it will happen one day when the issues jason copyright thing is over.
But when he will be in the game, would you be mad if he's below A tier?

Yea, on his own game he literally teleport evil dead style and one shot survivors to death by grabbing them and DBD gonna make him like Clown or Trapper? they can return him from legal hell then if that ever happens.

No, Myers, Pig, Ghostface, and Demo are all at or below A tier imo and they are all perfectly serviceable killers. If his power is incredibly weak and underwhelming like the Trickster, then I would be mad. But as long as he gets and interesting power that doesn't suck donkey balls I'll be content.

Don't worry, if they ever get him he will be over powered upon release in order to get lots of sales and nerfed 3-4 months later.

I want him to be S tier. If he's going to just be another M1 killer SWF can easily bully id rather not have him in this game. Remember when Freddy first released?

Well, Freddy is a reality warping killer (within the context of a dream) and is not the best killer in the game. Soo.. there's that. :P

He's not. I don't like current Freddy at all, but he's not the best Killer in the game. He's just easy, but his skill ceiling and maximum output is nowhere near Nurse or Spirit, or even Blight or Oni for that matter.

It'd probably be best if Jason was good enough to be competent, but had a power that was fun to use. If he's engaging to play but not hilariously weak, then I think he would be a successful addition. Bonus points if that power is also reasonably fun to play against.
The last thing we need is another killer that is pretty strong, but mutually boring to play as/against (post-rework Freddy).
And obviously, if we get a killer that's both boring AND weak, then it would be a major mishap in power design (like Old Legion).

Give Jason his Undetectable status effect, his teleportation, a rage mode that lasts 60 seconds and his ability to see Auras but with accessories, something akin to Jumpscare Myers and with that it's S Tier for me.

Freddy is a A tier killer at best, the thing that even keeps freddy in the tier he's in currently is his gen teleportation, the map pressure and slowdown add ons he has are his bread and butter , if you took just those two things away from him he would be a weak killer

and that's exactly why he's the worst fit for a killer in DBD, every aspect of him in F13 is only balanced by the fact that you can actively stun him throughout the match, have people beat him up to drop you, kill him, and have a player come back with a damn gun. pallets are not anything like the knives, flashlights are not like the weapons, you cant kill the killer, and players don't come back with a force to be reckoned with.

I wouldn't want him to be stupid powerful like nurse and spirit, but considering that he's one of the biggest icons of horror along with Michael and Freddy i'd expect him to be atleast A tier, hopefully around the same power level as Oni and not boring like Freddy.
