I think that the blight chapter was the best chapter released
Now, here are my thoughts:
Blight: extremely fun killer to play and fun to go against. Balanced power and add-ons with a few bugs and his fov as downsides.
Perks: dragon's grip, not that bad of a perk and punishes gen tapping, blood favor, not that bad either but extremely fun when it works, undying, kind of an overpowered perk that shifted the entire meta.
Generally on the killer side I rate it 7/10
Felix: without a doubt the hottest survivor ever implemented. This is not up for debate, I will shoot you 🔫
Perks: visionary, helps with indoor maps and is a nice quality of life perk that cancels most 3gens if you use the info correctly, built to last, not the best perk, but makes your items incredibly useful (I use it with streetwise, botany, self care or desperate measures with a purple medkit and I'm able to heal infinitely with the medkit), desperate measures, also one of my favorite perks, is only useful when you need it (when everyone is injured and you want a quick heal, more than 1 survivor is hooked and need to move fast, ect.)
Generally I rate the survivor side 9/10
Now, some objections come to mind. Blights fov and undying really hurt the experience and Felix's perks are not incredibly powerful, so why is this the best chapter released in my opinion, when there are chapters like onis and deathslinger's that are also incredibly balanced and well thought? Because the devs nailed the story
Blights story expanded the lore with a character that we knew for quite some time. Felix's story is connected with elodie's and we can see how the two teens reacted with their parent's disappearance. Elodie tries to find a way to save her parents and Felix wants to honor his father by following his footsteps.
Blight is extremely fun and his perks make really enjoyable combos. Felix is a hottie and his perks are extremely fun to use as well.
So what do you think? What's in your opinion the best chapter release

I think the best three chapters were Stranger Things, Halloween and Descend Beyond.
Stranger Things was mega hype, as was Halloween and the characters are fan favorites to this day.

There are alot of good chapter but i think stranger things was best chapter yet!
it got me hyped up tbf
demogorgon is one of the best killers and steve and nancy are awesome lol

Yes, descend beyond and cursed legacy are my two favourite chapters thus far.

You forgot to mention the new Offerings they added to go along with Felix. The fact you can dictate where the Hatch spawns and bring a key for an easy escape really annoys me. So because of that I can't rank the Blight chapter as the best.

Blights design was one of the better ones I'll give you that.
Blights perks however are bad. The only one that was good was gutted so now none of them are worth running.
Built to Last and Desperate Measures are fair perks so I'm fine with those. Visionary is just new a player learning perk, that's about it.

Guess I’m getting shot. We all know Jeff is hotter
On a serious note I think the best chapter was demise of the faithful
A very underrated killer with great perks
The best survivor ever released(definitely not biased) with some fun perks
A decent map

I would love to agree. Great concept. Great production value. The only problem (and it’s a big one) is Blight mechanics. Half the community can’t use him! That is, us console players feel left out on this one.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve gone against a few good console Blights, but they are indeed few and far between. I think people would rather be learning Nurse if they’re gonna put their time into a difficult killer.
I’ve seen the threads though. PC players LOVE this guy! Can’t blame you either. You can control him and get enjoyment out him. More power to ya!

Cursed Legacy, Chains Of Hate, and Descend Beyond were my favorite original chapters. All three killers that came in these chapters are extremely fun to play as and to play against in my opinion.
Oni has a very creative and Powerful power, and once he gets that first hit in, that's where the FUN begins. And as a survivor Oni is just very intimidating and scary to go against, with his chase music being one of the cooler ones.
Death Slinger is in my opinion has one of the coolest powers in the game, and I know he's another range killer and all that but I think he is a cooler ranged killer than huntress and has a better 1v1 potential. Now I know most of the community hate going against Death Slinger but I personally really like going against him, the chase music gets my adrenaline fueled, and the scary part is that you never know when he's gonna shoot.
Blight has the most fun power in the game, being extremely fun to play as and go against, and as a survivor what I find scary about Blight is just that he could be from one side of the map to the other in just a matter of seconds, very scary and fun. As for playing as Blight though, just running and watching my head bounce off the wall is very fun, along with his chase music, his map mobility, it's just very cool.
As for Licensed Chapters My favorite's were definitely Halloween, Stranger Things, and Silent Hill.
Michael Myers is Michael Myers, not much to say.
Demogorgon was an extremely cool addition to the game.
Holy cow they have Pyramid Head in the game.
So there wasn't much to say about Licensed Chapters, because all three of their powers tie in so well from what they were like from their franchises, like I was impressed with Pyramid Head's power because I never thought he would have worked in the game, but he did.
But anyway ya these are my opinions.

Definitely in agreement with Felix being the best looking male survivor, with the only other one that competes with him for that, in my opinion, being David.
But his perks are pretty bad. I like Built to Last as a concept, but there's no valuable items to use it on. Visionary is kinda pointless after playing for about a week, and Desperate Measures suffers from the 'why not bring We'll Make It or Botany instead' issue.
I mean, three people need to be injured or downed in order for Desperate Measures to be somewhat comparable to Botany, and at that point, you've got problems that a little healing ain't gonna fix.

For me, the top 5 chapters are:
- Halloween
- Stranger Things
- Darkness Among Us
- Chains of Hate
- All-Kill
Also, the best looking survivors are Jeff and Ash. #Fact

Cursed Legacy
Might be biased though 👹
Other than that i liked pretty much every chapter so far except the Twins

My top 3 are probably Descend Beyond, Spark Of Madness and Darkness Among Us. Somewhat controversial, but I truly believe it.
Descend Beyond: Good Killer and a decent Survivor. No map but no map is better than a ######### map (looking at you Halloween, Nightmare On Elm Street, Stranger Things, SAW, etc).
Spark Of Madness: Decent Killer (one of the best in terms of design and lore imo) and a great Survivor. Possibly the best indoor map too, though indoor maps generally aren't great.
Darkness Among Us: The best Survivor in the game's history (seriously, I would give a limb for Jeff to get good archives if I could), one of my main Killers, and a map that's unique in terms of visuals and it's somewhat balanced.

Imma have to disagree with you just because Blight is next to unplayable on console.
I like it's REALLY bad.
3 -
I started this game with Stranger Things so I am biased and will say that chapter was the best.
I also really liked Mr Cowboy's chapter and love his map.
Onii-Chans chapter was nice too, though I'm of the few that doesn't like Yui.

I do think the Blight chapter was pretty great. Introduced a great and fun killer, changed up the killer meta, etc.
Unfortunately he is a scuffed killer on console as his flick game is so weak you can't even adjust your direction properly. Doubly unfortunate is console is the only Blight that feels counterable as PC Blights hit flicks so sharp it feels like there is no counterplay.

Maybe it's because I'm on console but Blight is not fun to play against, feels like I'm bullying him most matches I face him. I've also only seen him maybe 30 times since his release so not really a killer that console killers seem to enjoy playing. I haven't bought Blight/Felix because they just don't seem worth it. No map makes it not the best chapter for me, it feels incomplete to me that we only got survivor/killer. There are other chapters I would consider best chapters because I enjoy the killer, survivor and we got a map - Halloween, Chains of Hate, and Darkness Among Us would be top 3 for me.

Really? The only good thing about that chapter was Undying imo which is just a bandaid for bad totem spawns. The rest was entirely forgettable (including Blight).
The worst chapter imo is Halloween. It introduced a perk so broken and overpowered that it has impacted the game more than any other for the next 4 years. Not to mention at the time the original versions were the most unfair and unfun perks in videogame history. Also Haddonfield.
Another bad one was Darkness among us. Not only has Legion been nothing but suck since day 1 but he came with an engine update and the sounds in the game has never been as good as they were previously since.
Shattered Bloodlines was a good one. Good killer and some solid perks all around. Also demise of the faithful, interesting killer and head on and corrupt intervention and infectious fright are all great perks.

Wasn't surprised about that chapter when it came out. It felt like nothing special to me. I'd have to say the Stranger Things chapter, the Chains of Hate chapter & lastly the Silent Hill chapter were the best ones that got me hyped. Now awaiting the All Kill chapter which I cannot wait for.

Descend Beyond is my all time favorite chapter in the game. A killer that was teased for 2 years and is the embodiment of the entirety of the Hallowed Blight events makes The Blight stand out in the roster of killers.
Fast paced gameplay, well designed power and perks, and being the only killer in the game that has the most lore, he is one killer I can't get enough of. (and I play on console btw, which console Blight is not unplayable as everyone makes him to be)
The introduction of Felix started a linked story that potentially includes more than the 2 survivors we've seen at this point. His perks aren't that great though with Desperate Measures as an exception.
I'm very curious to see if Talbot Grimes' story will continue exclusively within Halloween events moving forward.

If I find you in dbd I'm bringing deathslinger to shoot you :p

You four play on console so I can't really speak for you, since I'm a pc gamer. But I do get where you're coming from. It's like trying to learn nurse on dbd mobile if I had to guess. What's your favorite chapter may I ask?

You’ll have to find me first. 🥷 😈

For me, Demise of the Faithful was the best chapter ever released. It was so good that made me come back to play after some years. IMO, Plague is the best-designed killer in the game, both in character and in gameplay. Her perks are great with Corrupt and Infectious being a staple for most killers and Dark Devotion being a fun and interesting niche perk. For Jane, I really do enjoy her design, and is by far my favorite female survivor. Head On is interesting and fun, but unfortunately, her other two perks are no good but nothing can be perfect right? Also, Temple of Purgation is a gorgeous map and considered balanced for most people.
For the worst chapter, I would say the Halloween chapter takes the prize. The only good thing about it is that they brought the possibility of licensed chapters to the table. Myers even though considered strong in the long past, doesn't work anymore unless he uses one of his broken add-ons. Laurie is ugly and she brought one useless perk and the two most problematic perks in the game. And finally, there is Haddonfield... No need to say anything about this one, right?
Best Chapters IMO:
- Demise of the Faithful
- Of Flesh and Mud
- Spark of Madness
- Silent Hill
- Shattered Bloodline

Descend Beyond is definitely one of the most successful chapters done by BHVR. Blight is an incredibly well-designed killer, Felix's model is awesome, their lore is AMAZING (they technically teased the Blight way before he released), the perks are awesome, BHVR deserves a pat on the back for that one.
I do hope console players will get to enjoy the fun of Blight someday.

My favorite chapters are shattered bloodline and silent hill. They were both the most hype for me personally.

broken Hex:Undying release. Uncleanable totem locations. yeah, thats a whole recipe for disaster. If we aren't judging it from the lack of balance and overlooked game breaking bugs, sure. the concept of Descend Beyond was great, best in a long while.
Still, didnt come with a map and wasn't the Autohaven rework done at the same time? its still a barren wasteland to this day.

My favorite chapters were Halloween, Cursed Legacy, and Darkness Among Us.
Probably since the killers from those chapters are all ones that I main/mained.

My favorite chapter is definetely Demise of the Faithful (totally not biased ;) )

*The cursed legacy chapter would like to have a word with you.

Silent Hill>>>Every other chapter

Halloween definitely had a lot of hype and was super cool that it was happening, but tbf it did release 2 of the most controversial perks in the game, especially DS, and one of the worst maps in the game, if not the worst. It's more of a nostalgia thing than the chapter actually being that great lol.

Best chapters imo are Stranger Things, Silent HIll, Descend beyond, and binding of kin
The last one i listed sucked. Worst chapter ever.
