What're your guys thoughts on Clown?
I say this because I personally think he's still a pretty mediocre killer. It may be because I just don't know how to properly play him but I feel like his buffs were pretty lackluster. Apart from the 2 seconds subtracted from his reload speed I feel like the antidote is just too situational and not good enough.
I try to use his antidotes whenever I can and try to combine it with the tonic but it just doesn't feel like it's enough sometimes.

I think he's better than people say but still farbelow average and not worth playing.
Clown pros can end chases quickly and that's all he can do. So, he's better than trapper/myers/others who have parts of their power that works against them but his loud movement and vaults + lack of slowdown, mobility, and snowball potential hurts him.
On my tier list I'd put him snug in D tier with pig and wraith, above trickster myers and trapper in f.

I can’t loop, so he’s the bane of my existence along with Wraith. Wraith being at the top.

B Tier with the rework, he's the most underrated killer in the game.

At the moment I still think he's one of the weakest killers in the game, definitely in a better spot but the new bottles didn't add enough to elevate him over others. The real buff to him was the reload speed and removal of the speed penalty when throwing a bottle. The piss bottles don't address his main issue being map pressure and only offer strength at certain tiles.

Even after the "buff" they gave him, I'd say he's still low tier considering they also took away one of his best addons -- exhaustion.
He's amazing in chase but lacks in mobility even with his new bottles. I feel like the devs definitely took the easy way out and gave him a small speed boost instead of a full rework, or something similar.

Since his rework, he's very slightly better. The reload buff he got was well deserved but the antidote was not what he needed. It is useless in most situations.

Very, very strong chase power that gets hard countered by predropped pallets and doesn't have enough lethality to cut chases short in deadzones, mixed with zero mobility to chain downs and snowball map pressure.
Pretty average killer.

He is worse than before. The gas takes a second for the bottle to break and spread instead of doing it instantly like before; and a lot of his good addons were nerfed to make room for his pretty lousy yellow bottles.
All of his best addons have been replaced with most garbage. There’s only 1 ether addon now, his “moderately increased gas area” addon doesn’t include longer lingering gas clouds, and seems nerfed in terms of percentages.

Not bad. There are definitely worse killers. The Cigar Box add on is pretty ridiculous. His 1v1 is really strong.

Cigar box isn't as great as some people make it out to be. Flask/Garish Is a better combo than lets say Garish/Cigar

High B tier. I'm always going to say this, because he is an extremely lethal killer if you know what you are doing, but honestly there is only a handful of us that are consistent with him.

The rework changed none of his issues and thus ultimately accomplished nothing.
Him winning chases was never the issue.
Getting into chases was due to his lack of map mobility and pressure are some of his main issues.

High C low B i would say.
Very high chase power but that's all he has. All your pressure needs to come from your ability to down people fast and against effecient survivors who split up that just isn't enough.
The biggest problem with Clown right now isn't really that he's weak but that he is punishing as hell to play. Messing a chase up even once can completly cripple your pressure.
This can make learning him really frustrating cause if you mess a chase up twice in a row you bassicly lost.
What he needs is faster bottle velocity so you don't need to plan 5 seconds ahead of everything or enlarging the area of his clouds to reduce the chance of having the gas just out of the loop you are trying to influence.
Bassicly very hard killer to learn. Will get dominated by a tournament squad every time. But if you are dedicated enough to learn him you will crush any non tournament squad with ease

He's really fun to play, and absolutely trods on noobish survivors, but he's 1) hard to play 2) not too hard to counter 3) not that great, tbh.

my thoughted on clown since like i only played him at release was its always cool to have a new killer on the roster.

No doubt. His issue definitely isn't getting downs quickly. He wins at every tile. It's just that all his eggs are in one basket.

I like the Clown, for some reason he is a lot of fun to me. My first games with him were so much fun even thou I got no sacrifices.

I still love the clown. I've always had a soft spot for him despite his weakness. Plus his belly jiggle physics is just amazing 😎

I get no satisfaction out of his power, therefore i don't play him.
I have no idea how he plays now as i continue the trend of not playing him, so i can't comment on how much better/worse he is now.
