Who You Are Based on Your Killer Main

I am doing this sheerly out of boredom and fun. This is just what I've noticed, this is not true for everyone.

We've all seen (or played as) killers and then interact with the person after and realize, 'oh that is such a Ghostface thing to do'. I have this feeling that the killer a person plays has a reflection on their own personality. I won't do all of them.

Ghostface: You are an absolute joker or troll. Like, the word serious isn't a thing to you. If you mori someone and another survivor photo bombs you? Greatest thing in the world. You're childish, but not in a bad way. You make the game less serious, which is something it needs sometimes.

Trapper: You might have a vengeful side to you. Watching survivors taunt you then run into your traps makes you laugh. And, to be fair, it is funny. You like to see karma work it's magic and I see no issue with that.

Nurse: You're a very patient person, she takes a long time to master and heck, it's something I can't do. Your skill and dedication are greatly admired.

Spirit: You might be into anime, but hey, no issues there. She's actually pretty adorable. While Nurse wasn't your cup of tea, you still worked hard to get where you are. And mind pallet games are fun so...

Legion: As a Legion main myself, I have to say that we're actually much nicer if you treat us nicer. I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm happy to help survivors with goals if they ask and play nicely. We may say we're used to the hate, but we're honestly not bad people and would like a little kindness.

Shape: You're the person who watches scary movies, knows what's going to happen next, and tries to hold back laughter as everyone else screams. It's all in good fun though. Sometimes, they just want to moon walk for the heck of it. Why? Because it's funny. Popping out and scaring people is actually pretty funny.

Deathslinger: While they're few and far between, Deathslingers have the tendency to scare the daylights out of you. As someone who plays him, rest assure that every time I make a good shot, I'm hella proud. It isn't always easy to make that shot you know.

I’ll add some of my own from my experience here

Freddy: Either you want the easy way out or your a NOES fan

    Twins: Do you exist?

Wraith: Very good and respectable players and usually veterans

Billy: Always fun to play with and very chill. Put a lot of time into mastering him

Hag: Very rare but pretty chill. Either put 10 traps at a hook or actually know how to play her

PH: Either you hate DS or are a Silent hill fan

Clown: Either really new or will wipe the floor with you using and off meta perk build

    Thank you :)

I mean, I wouldn't consider myself a veteran, I've been playing since around before Spirit, but I know there are a lot of people who have been playing way longer.

Yeah a lot of wraith mains are launch or close to launch players. Usually really good and don’t need any chase powers to win

You're proud of your skills. And you should be. Practice makes perfect, which is exactly what the Pig takes. You're dedicated and that's pretty awesome.

Billy: He's the easy to learn hard to master type. You see things through to the end, but play fairly. I respect that.

Wraith is a hard one. They all seem to be pretty different. But one thing is for sure: you love ringing the bell. Even if there is no reason. Hey, I don't blame you. I've played him a few times, and it's crazy fun. You're a focused individual who enjoys winning, but can admit when you've lost. I appreciate that.

Plauge: First off, wear a mask girl. You know the times. You've probably heard that if you play her. You're focused and hardworking. Your strength is survivor determined, so it can get frustrating. But you're trying and learning as you go. Keep up the good work and don't be afraid to try new things.

Buba: Oh boy, I have to hold my tongue here. I'm not a fan considering I've met some not so nice Buba players. But, those who play well really want to fight the stigma. You play fair, but see it through to the end. If you played fairly and well, don't be afraid to send a GG.

Twins: Like Mikey, you kind of like scaring people. I can't tell you how many times I've screamed because Victor has jump scared me. You have an attachment to both of them, You try not to rely on just one of them and almost feel bad for not using both equally.

Blight: Don't deny you like pinball (no shame though). You like strategy and learning new techniques. Keep yourself mentally stimulated or you go nuts. You might really like the Zero Escape series, lots of puzzles.

That Blight one is accurate for me. Never heard of Zero Escape tho.

Doctor: You are new to the game, possibly too afraid to play as survivor because of jump scares. You can't find survivors for the life of you, so you play as Doctor. You enjoy the laughing as it eases the tension that you had previously hated as survivor.

As a Legion Main, I do my best to play fair and pay attention to what is happening. If I see a DC, I look at the current state of the match and decide if I'm going to throw so they don't have to slog through a bad match. I do my best not to tunnel, and I get twitchy when I see survivors sandbagging each other. I'm almost a survivor advocate at that point. Most Legion players I've gone up against were never really toxic, and seemed more open to shenanigans if there was a clear reason for it.

If I'm playing Plague, imma tummy trouble on you. Win or lose, your going to look like you went through a 90s nickelodeon game show with all the green slime.

Freddy mains, on the other hand, oof...

As a Legion main, it's pretty accurate. We get a lot of hate for playing the "worst" killer in the game, but if we really are the worst, then why are you complaining? Aren't you supposed to be happy you get a "free escape" as you say?

"Freddy mains, on the other hand, oof..."

Hey, this isn't fair. As a long time Freddy main, I will tell you how we truly are:

Freddy mains usually love how strong of a killer he is, or they are ANOES fans... Or both. They have used Dream Pallets at least once, despite knowing that Snares are better. Finally, almost every single Freddy main out there kinda miss Old Freddy, and remember the fun experiences they had with him.

Freddy mains are intelligent people. They often use the game as a vent for frustration in the real world. That's what games are for. Never assume what someone's day has been like.

Give it a shot. Really fun. The first game is 9 Doors 9 Person's 9 Hours.

I see Doctor players as someone who enjoys a good challenge. Despite people saying he's cheap and easy to use, he takes a while to get the hang of. If a Doctor player let's you go, they're impressed and appreciate your skill.

im a myers main and this description fits me perfectly.

but wraith one should be: you get bullied a lot

    KasumiFox Member Posts: 117

Pretty sure that's the Legion mains who get bullied a lot.

I play Legion a lot, dunno if I'd consider myself a Legion main (if I do, I'm a Susie main all the way babey) and surprisingly, I don't get bullied using them. It's mostly when I play Hag or Ghostface (with GF, the teabagging I'm always a bit confused on when it happens if it's to be toxic or meme) but mostly Hag and I don't understand why. My traps are not in bad spots, really good actually and it really confuses me why on earth are you teabagging and flashlight clicky clicky me when all of you are injured and or half of your team is dead with you on your last legs I do not understand it.

anyway, Freddy is fun, loveable too.

been a fan of the movies growing up as a kid, then loving the remake. sometimes a character can just mean so much to you. That is why i also main him. I am glad he got added though. old Freddy was fun to play as. I stopped playing the game then came back he had changed.

I enjoy constantly running into obstacles in my path and using them to reach my goal, but my life is often being thrown into random directions despite my best attempts to get things where I want them to. But after taking my time to recover and reflect and I am ready to continue forward again.

    Which killer do I main?

  • AChaoticKiller
    AChaoticKiller Member Posts: 3,104

Well i consider myself to be someone who has multiple mains since i can't stand playing the same killer over and over again unless it's demo because i love him.

So i main Demo, Hag, Plague, and starting to main Nurse (I've been training off and on Nurse since like October last year) all on console.

So i would say i'm definitely a very patient person since i can play nurse very well on a damn controller. According to @Phasmamain im pretty chill which is also true as i don't often end games when I know i can if i think it will result in a more fun match for both me and the survivors and yeah what is up with Hag's either being bosses or just straight up sucking XD. I also play a ton of wraith which is funny since i'm a vet but i don't consider myself a wraith main as im just very good at the game and it doesn't feel like he has much skill to him besides where/when to uncloak as well as utilizing his speed boosted lunge.

I know how it feels. Ever since I watched ANOES I can't get enough of Freddy. He has been my main ever since I first started playing. I've spent countless hours trying to master Old Freddy, and even more hours trying to master the new one.

As much as I love his current version, I would do anything to play Old Freddy again. I miss him.

I may not be into anime, but I do love my Spirit. Watching people eat a face full of Devour Hope is always fun.

Wiping the floor with off meta builds is LITERALLY in my job description.

    I love what I do.
