The "Get the hell off my gens" Oni build
BBQ, pop, trail of torment, and tinkerer.
Addons (needed): Akito's crutch + Kanai-Anzen talisman (both speed addons)
Once you have your power, wait until you know where survivors are so you can kick a gen for trail of torment, then proceed to go into god mode and gun it to the gens in danger. Bonk any vandals you find and beat the gen back to health.
Use TOT if you have your power and see someone with BBQ to find them and punish them for playing survivor.
If you see that tinkerer pop, you know what to do. Brutalize any of those survivor scoundrels for touching your gens.

That you will get spanked by a good survivor team; which until MMR is active you probably won’t see so it literally doesn’t matter what you run as Oni; as long as you have Akito’s crutch, because it’s that strong. You get your power and down people for free, hooray. Why bother with double speed when you can get the topknot in there?

I went against a good survivor team with this and I did just fine.

A Yords' post about Oni is a good day for me. Once I get BBQ, I'm gotta try this out.

And while you don't have it, just run Thrilling Tremors. It works almost the same but with a cooldown

In this case, BBQ would be a little better since you can use TOT and then gun it to a survivor you see.
