Should Stake Out be based off of chase instead of the terror radius?
Current steak out is ... lacking in application. I propose that, instead of having it based off of the terror radius (meaning idling around), we have it accrue tokens based off of chases, and increase the token cap.
Not only is it easier to be in chases for 15 seconds (if you're good) than it is to sit around in the terror radius for 15 seconds, it would probably discourage tunneling to an extent. The killer has the knowledge that if they commit to a chase for too long, in the off chance that they have stake out, they will be giving that survivor a lot of tokens, which they could later use to push through a gen very quickly.

Stake Out seems like a police stake out. Waiting, watching, doing nothing, not wanting to be discovered. With your change they would have to rename it to Police Raid, Hot Pursuit, White Bronco or something like that. And wait, cops chase criminals, that would make the killer a cop? Or is the survivor a cop? Are you a cop?

If I'm working on a gen while someone is being chased I get tokens, if I'm cleaning a totem in the TR I'm getting tokens, if I'm hiding in a locker while the killer is searching the area I'm getting tokens. If they reverted it to chases you'd maybe get 4-6 tokens per game unless you are an amazing looper and you'll never be able to use them except for crutch heals or the killer abandons you. It rewards immersion and being a gen jockey and would drastically decrease in value on a chase oriented build since you'd get less use out of it.

The only thing I don't like about the TR requirement is how unreliable Stakeout can be against Stealth killers.
