if you made 1.5x BP permanent, it wouldnt be special anymore.
id say they could make these events more often though.

Maybe not perm. That would ruin the specialty of it, I would rather have a blood rush every week end or so.

Birlliant. Would finally reduce the grind a bit. Honestly I'm shocked a game like this still has such a grind even two years later, I mean what do they believe how this grind feels for new comers who need to play for so long to finally unlock proper perks for the killers they enjoy playing? It's very newcomer unfriendly if you ask me.

You know nothing.. Back then the bloodwebs were insane huge, imagine these bloodwebs today with all the perks

Didn't they say they were going to look at the bloodweb again in one of their latest streams? Someone should ask them to clarify this or BP gain in their next Q&A. I've got my own thing to ask.

I think that once a month, the week right before rank reset would be fine to have a bloodrush event. If they were to make it a permanent thing.

I'd personally much rather see a fix to the overall Bloodweb grind as opposed to just giving everyone more Bloodpoints.

Maybe they need to alternate per month, so one month a week-long blood rush then next a double BP weekend.

I will agree that the grind is a little daunting for new players

It is, which is why, though I expected DBD to be my new main game, it became very much an occasional side game very quickly. On limited play time, there is no way in hell I can churn through a grind that would make an Asian gamer throw his hands up in frustration.

Almost two-and-a-half years post launch, they seriously need to revisit this BP, Perk, and RNG bloodweb system. Not only is the grind completely asinine for new players at this stage, but most new players will hit Rank 15+ under the current ranking system before they even have most Teachables or other needed perks.

As far as the current BP bonus event: either they advertised for crap, or people just did not care. Usually during any sort of BP event the Steam Chart numbers go up. For Blood Rush, they not only didn't go up from their normal hovering of 25k-30k in the daytime and 13k-15k at night (east coast time zone), but they actually went down some days. A couple nights during the Blood Rush, Steam Charts showed around 8k-9k people on in the late evenings.

The problem for new players is the massive grind in getting the perks you want.

Yes permanent bloodrush could be an answer but they could also do other things instead like increase the number of perks in a web to 4 for example.

The game's such a massive grind so it has been nice with a little bonus BP on the side.
I still think they should boost the amount of BP you get per game, or lower the cost of unlocking things in the bloodweb.

Why not do this every weekend, and every 3-5 weekends we get a blood hunt or xp boost

Mate they’re not even making it double BP anymore what makes you think they’ll keep it?
