You might think the new chapter is weak and isnt that good but no one can deny this fact.
No one can deny what an amazing work the voice actor of the trickster did. I actually didnt think we could get something like this in dbd with talking lines etc. The amount of personaly in this character through the voice actors work is something that every killer and survivor should have and i dont know if it was just dbd that let him do more or if it was himself that just went all out in the mic. I appriciate his voice actor very much for what he did with this character.

Trickster's cosmetic and VOs are really good and unique. He just don't feel threatening yet.

I have to agree. I've been using him since release and you really get the sense he's just enjoying the thrill of hunting. He's not like your normal killer who just hunts and hooks. This guy is making it obvious he's excited for the chase and is loving seeing survivors fleeing in terror. Despite his obvious flaws they nailed his sociopath vibe.

I love everything about this chapter but playing as the Trickster, and I'm still going to spend today trying to get Adept with him no matter how frustrating it is. I just wish we'd gotten a new map for these two. I'd love a flashy neon nightlife map.

I like trickster quite a lot from an audio and visual design but unfortunately he’s very weak and not even fun to fight against

The devs said that we might get it in the future. They couldnt do it right now as they are reworking the old maps

It's a nice change of pace, everyone is SO QUIET in DBD. At most there's a laugh when you hit someone, but the survivors don't even talk to each other. In another universe this game could have a chat wheel where your character says something that nearby survivors (and killers!) can hear. Something like.. "help me repair this", "go save them!", "let's get out of here!", etc.

I mean, yeah. It's kinda cool to see a more human killer. Untill you realize all his sounds mask footsteps, slowvaults, and general sounds. And his grunting when he picks someone up is really annoying.

It's homestly a shame. He looks and sounds so amazing but he is a nightmare to play

The aesthetic of this chapter is well done, superb!
The functionality and balancing, those are nonexistent.
