What happened at BHVR?
When this PTB was released, the community gave some pretty good feedback for the trickster, and waited for changes or at least a response. Yet, when the chapter came out, all we got was an underwhelming buff and a nerf for something that should've been base kit. So what happened? Why was feedback disregarded again?
(just asking a serious question, dont be a jerk and namecall and belittle BHVR please)

Imo it's a classic case of "we know best". Ptb is just a glorified demo at this point.
Honestly they need to change the name from ptb to next chapter demo if they aren't going to listen to feedback.

It reminds me of The Culling. People loved it until they started making bad changes. The response was "no, you just think og culling was good. Don't believe your lying eyes."

It's important to remember that with any code changes time has to be spent altering the code, testing the code for it's intended function, and testing the code for overall impact (regression testing). some code lives in isolation and can be changed without a lot of impact, but other areas could have mass implementation across the game and therefore have an impact on the entire game.
added to that the time it takes to submit the patch to the various platforms, the time those platforms take to quality check it, and the lead time necessary to stage the patch, and you really can't make a lot of changes from PTB to live. what it does give though is a head start on a bug fix patch, midchapter improvements, and the opportunity to make small QoL changes before live. they can also gauge the community response and help plan how best to approach the release.

I think a lot of the community is putting their finger on it. It's 2 things as far as I can see.
1.) The Devs are terrible at their own game and it seems like they're the ones QAing their own product - or at least they keep their own council from their own playtesting. What's absolute fact is they take no suggestions from PTR, that's for sure. Some Devs stream while they play and they are shockingly awful. Thus, I'm sure Trickster is very balanced if you take a player who's barely ever played killer and put them against 4 survivors who barely ever played survivor. At any other level, it falls apart.
2.) They are trying to make very tight deadlines, hell or high water, to keep revenue up. Let's not kid ourselves - this company is mostly a mobile game company. The sad reality is mobile gaming's profit margins are much, much higher, so they're under a lot of pressure to continually keep money rolling in. Which, unfortunately, leads to rushed decisions, pipelines, timetables - hell, last chapter, they went for broke and released a flat out broken killer with half their toolkit completely missing and most of the perks literally didn't even work on launch. It was pathetic.

At this point others are still name-calling BHVR because at this point has had 3-4 weeks to read feedback and did not do anything.

I know that a lot of people are frustrated, but we still need to keep our cool and be reasonable

Remember this is a killer forum. If devs do everything killers say here a new killer with trapper could demolish a 4 swf squad

I'm sorry but is this bait?

One of the members of the balance team apparently said there 'wasn't enough data/no good data' indicating he was weak.
So...
Yeah

OK, and this sounds like fantastic justification to delay the release of DLC... not release it broken and half finished.
