What tier is Trickster?
For reference S,A,B,C,F tier. In my opinion he's awful easily F tier. A power not lethal enough at times when an M1 is better. And he's 110. But what do you think?

If he were a normal movement speed killer I’d be inclined to only put him around D tier, but since he is a slow killer it’s genuinely more feasible to not use your power at all, since the knives are hard to aim and it takes so many hits to do damage at all.

Not the worst killer in the game but he's down there alright.

Using your power 9 times out of 10 puts you at a disadvantage, you're better off using your m1.
110% killer, breaking LOS and losing distance seriously hurts you.
You'd be better off m1'ing with Freddy, or even Michael.
