Would it be better if DBD gave number values instead of Slightly, Moderately, etc.
There are many add-ons in this game that sound like they should be doing a lot, but if you look at the real numbers that are actually worthless. (I.E. Rat liver for Demogorgon says slightly despite being best add-on for him.)
If players were to actually have the numbers they would have a better ability to judge add-on effectiveness without having to actually try them.

Fine with either
I think it depends on the perk/addon. Sloppy Butcher for example would make no sense being described like "increases bleeding frequency to 3 liters per kilometer".

They could just say double or triple...

They really should at least have a page in-game going into full detail of what it does to the killers powers, we shouldn't have to figure it out by ourselves.

I'm amazed this isn't 100% for percentages lol
The existing system would be fine if the definitions of "slightly, moderately, considerably, tremendously" were consistent. That way you could have an intuitive feel for how strong items of different rarities are relative to each other and learning the underlying percentages would be easy for those who care to know. In practice, though, the meanings vary wildly to the point where the text may as well mean nothing. All you know is that increasing rarity increases the effect, but that's obvious already from the nature of rarity. The only way to know what the add-ons actually do is to comb through the wiki. That is silly.
There's already precedent for percentages in the game. Think of perks like Botany Knowledge and Prove Thyself. Why do these perks use percentages when medkits and toolboxes, which affect the same things, use these vague and imprecise terms? It's just dumb lol.
I'm sure some people just don't care, and that's fine, but those people would also be perfectly fine with percentages. I think percentages is the clearly better choice.

yeah when "slightly" can mean anywhere from 5-50% or more, I think its just better we know the amount. I really don't see the point of using the "slightly, moderately" system besides to just obscure information for some reason.
Just give us the numbers ffs.

For "Slightly, Moderately, Considerably, Tremendously"
I'm not a numbers person, so it would actually be worse for me if they put raw numbers in -- and it would be a pain for them because, any time they tweaked the numbers, they'd have to update the text. If there were going to be numbers, though, I'd do better with ratios or percentages. So, if you want to say "It makes XYZ 50% faster" that's better for me than, "It subtracts two seconds from XYZ."

Should have both.

It would be tremendously better.

For "Slightly, Moderately, Considerably, Tremendously"
voted for the wrong choice - thought "for slightly, moderately, tremendously" meant those would be replaced for numbers. im still not entirely sure why "for" is in front of all the options...
