For better visibility, chose x0.25 speed

I guess if we "fix" the hitbox, killers gonna complain BHVR nerf them am I right?

Well obviously, I don't think it can be fair and square. Survivors are round-ish so a square hitbox would just be odd.

That looks more like a latency issue than hitboxes.

But really, square hitboxes would be a nightmare. The current models are these big pills, that are especially inaccurate when injured (that's why they changed locomotion; it better reflects the hitbox dimensions). When you're injured, you're hunched over at almost a 90 degree angle.

Here's them with the old locomotion, I can't find one with the new locomotion, but it does look better. They look imperfect, but the swings on DBD are not so precise that they need to be that good. It doesn't matter if you have Meg's entire lower half as a hitbox or perfectly carve out her toes. The character models are very much imperfect, yes, but it's just so much lighter on the system to have a constant, simple hitbox like this. It's not a matter of BHVR being lazy or whatever; most games do this. To have individual and intricate elements of a hitbox, all perfectly in sync with the character model, is an absolute chore.

Now, especially on your back, there is a large area where there is hitbox without character model. Usually this is insignificant, as the swing carries through and hits your rear, but with huntress hatchets and swings that just barely graze you, it can be frustrating. I don't think it would be that much of a chore to actually just rotate the pills so that they're more in line with your back, in addition to shrinking them a little bit, but I'm not a game designer.

TL;DR, it's more complicated then just "press e to fix hitboxes."

the hit boxes cuck me up too. when i think im safe and they cant hit me, i get struck down by dedicated servers. it would be so much easier to tell if you can make it to a certain loop instead of having to pray that the killer isnt playing at mcdonalds

by fair and square I mean the hit should connect to your body instead of swinging in the air and still hit people, not that I want square hitbox...!

Nurse is the only killer whose M1s never connect for me. And I don't mean Freddy tier where he's actually still in range his model is just short. Like even in 40 ms matches that Blink Lunge will get me around corners and through windows that I'm 4-5 meters away from and running.

To people that say it's because of the latency, if it was the latency then why isn't killer stunned?? - DBD just mess up hard with this update!

If you're having such problems with lag, it's on your end.
