So boring playing against the trapper
Is it possible that all you trapper fans can find a different way to kill survivors other than the killer shack basement? Then camp the hell out of it waiting to see if a survivor steps on a trap trying to unhook. Yes survivors unhook. That’s what we do. If not people die and the game ends. Please relieve us of our boredom. Find another more creative way to kill us. Maybe even play another killer? Just a suggestion. Thanks.

Is it possible that all you survivor fans can find a different way to escape than to rely on exhaustion perks, toolboxes, instaheals and prove thyself? Then tunnel the hell out of generators and greed pallets with dead hard? Yes, killers kill survivors. That's what we do. If not, they survive and the game ends. Please relieve us of our boredom. Find another more creative and skill-based way to win than being the sum of your perks. Maybe even learn to loop without exhaustion perks. Just a suggestion. Thanks.

Basement trapper is quite annoying to fight though considering it’s just better to do gens and leave. Not fun for anyone at that point

Actually, if the survivors are just holding W, there's nothing else the killer can do but play basement trapper. It's the only way to trick survivors into interacting with you.

I wasn’t discounting anything. Camping in general is unfun to most killers.
Losing to a basement trapper is unlikely since you just do gens and get out while the one other person suffers. Doing gens is widely regarded as a boring thing and chases are the most fun thing. Camping removes the fun part and keeps the boring part
Also I ain’t embarrassed to lose to a trapper. Any trapper good enough to beat me is great in my book :)

Basement Trapper doesn't always involve camping. The two things are completely different.

Don't get caught by the basement against trapper. The basement is a strong location for any killer but trapper especially. Killers kill and you're not entitled to escape. Just letting you know.

There’s a degree of responsibility on the survivors here. It’s the most ideal play for Trapper to get a survivor down into the basement, but that can only happen if the survivors take chases near there, or do their repairs near it without Trapper being distracted on the other side of the map.
Once survivors learn they’re up against Trapper (or another excellent basement defender), they should make it a priority to find out where the basement is (when the killer is distracted), and always repair as far away from the basement as possible (and lead chases as far away as possible). Likewise, if the killer is successfully lead away to the opposite side of the map, gens near or above the basement should be repaired as fast as possible (so that there will no longer be a need for survivors or the killer to be near the basement later in the game).

Just had a trapper camp constantly throughout the match. I don’t think they are boring killers though. That belongs to Nurse and Spirit. I just want to leave when I face off against them.

Rule number 1 when facing a trapper is don't go in the basement after a trapped survivor 😅

If you mean a trapper who puts 1 or 2 traps at the basement then yeah that’s completely understandable. I’m more talking about the 6 traps at shack and staying in basement trapper
Im fine with territorial killers like hag and trapper playing territorially but if it’s done to much it just leads to a boring match all around

Assuming these people want to get better at trapper this strategy only gets you so far especially at higher ranks
If you put all 6 of your traps at shack and leave agreed it ain’t camping but if a trapper puts 6 traps at shack he probably intends to camp shack

Who cares if he’s the “weakest killer in the game.” OP has a right to complain about how most trappers play, No one would enjoy a game where the killer stays at shack 98% of the game to get kills. With that being said, leave him be, like it honestly seems like you go to every thread and if it mentions ANYTHING about the survivor side you’re so quick to judge and have something negative to say. It’s not a good look.

I main survivor and basement trappers aren’t something I come across ALL THE TIME. when I play killer which is like 30% of the time I play trapper and trapping the killer shack and spending the whole game there would NEVER get me any bp or be fun at all so I would never do that...
some people play crap games but you just move on...
the trapper is going to use traps, don’t expect less.
