Never get cocky at hatch against a Wraith
You are the last survivor alive in the match and you found the hatch.
Instead of escaping, which is what you should have done, you decide to wait for the killer at hatch and get cocky thinking you are certainly gonna escape.
Problem is, the killer is wraith with a movement speed add-on.
PLS people, never take a win for granted. If you are able to escape through doors or hatch just do it, or else you are risking dying because the game will not end until you reach the end screen.

You can hear wraith from a mile away, that guy needs to invest in some headphones lol. I remember sneaking on a survivor teabagging on a hatch once, the moment he turned around I just slammed it shut in his face. Edit: it was with pig.

I almost did that as Wraith, the true invisibility buff is great for sneaking up on people like that.

Gotta love karma! A survivor did this to me while i was playing as spirit and he found hatch but decided to wait until i came over. I got close enough to him where he wouldn't hear my husk and phased over to hatch and closed it in his face. Best memories i made while playing as my girl spirit :)

The sentiment still stands. A survivor hasn’t won until they’ve actually escaped. Nobody should take a win for granted in this game until the match is actually concluded.
This is why most NOED posts leave a sour taste in my mouth because it’s the sentiment behind a lot of these rants: the belief they’re automatically entitled to a win before they’ve even gotten out of a gate yet.

I don't think that's the reason most people hate NOED. It's more along the lines of why people hate Rancor, imo.

You can hear Wraith's footsteps long before he reaches you, also it was very dumb for them to leave the hatch to walk around. This person didn't lose because the killer was Wraith, this person lose to their own mistakes.

The same goes for injured people at a gate or hatch against Deathslinger or Twins at the Exit gate. I don't care if the killer was as toxic as humanely possible, stop risking escaping just to stoop.

you still can hear and see his distortion while cloaked quite good, no?

You cannot see wraith at all when he's 20+ metres away WHILST he is cloaked, like how freddy is completely invisible to awake survivors out of a 32m range
