People who complain about the J flick
It's nobody's fault but your own for not investing in the platform the game was intended to be played on, there's no exploit just because your hardware prevents you from doing the same thing , that's like buying off brand Cocoa Puffs from the store and then complaining they aren't as good as the real deal, you can't be mad you invested in hardware that can barely run the game properly , and for those about to say DPI has something to do with it , it does somewhat but the glaring problem is console at 100% sensitivity is only like 50% on PC so it's literally double the sensitivity before you even add DPI from a gaming mouse in on the equation, moral of the story: just because you went cheap on buying hardware doesn't make someone else a cheater for actually buying something to run the game correctly

J flicks shouldn't be removed because it does nothing but benefit the game by increasing blights skill ceiling and makes him a viable killer.

My point is that they are pissed saying it's an exploit when it's literally the hardware preventing them from having the same sensitivity, you can't say someone is cheating because they bought the game on an intended platform and it works better than the one you have

No I'm saying if you complain about optimization problems or sensitivity maybe you should've invested in a pc , I mean you can't go to the dollar store buy some off brand soda and then complain that it's not as good as the real deal when you did it to yourself

I bought a PS5 because I like the PlayStation exclusive games more than any other platform. It’s very rude of you to call people cheap for not having a PC. I worked hard to pay for my PS5 and I don’t experience any issues on DBD. If I wanted a PC I would save up and buy one, but I don’t want one. Let people enjoy what they want without trying to make them feel bad for it. :/

It's the devs that limit sensitivity, not the game, it's 3rd party mouse software that allows us to do insane sens it has nothing to do with hardware lmao.

No one dreamed this game would and continue to be this poorly optimized. Those consoles you condemn as cheap are capable of running far more demanding games than DBD, especially the newest ones. And mid to lower end PC's have similar issues too.
It's just this game they have such a hard time digesting.

Well they should be mad at the devs then because it's not cheating just because someone's game runs better that's my point , these people saying it's exploiting when PC by default can do things console can't , how am I a exploiter for having my sensitivity turned up in game and it performing in a way they can't replicate? Just because the devs limit what console can do doesn't make me a cheater for pc sensitivity working better than intended with certain killers
And I'm talking default sensitivity at 100 being double what console has without any extra modification or gaming mouse

You're an exploiter because you're modifying something to gain an unintended result in a game. Textbook definition of an exploit. There's literally no arguing with it, just own it, you're using an exploit because you're not supposed to be able to turn your camera that much during Blight's rush in 1 frame. I don't care if people use it but it's getting really stupid seeing all these justifications for it and trying to say it isn't an exploit when it quite literally is. It doesn't matter if it is or isn't, you're not getting banned for it and it's up to the devs to remove it or not.

How is it an exploit for having my default sensitivity at 100 and nothing else ? I was accused of using j flick just yesterday and that's all I did, it's not my fault my sensitivity is higher due to the platform I'm on, again how am I exploiting? I guess every pc killer should turn their sensitivity down to 50 because it's not fair and an "exploit"

Flicking 180 degrees isn't something you should be able to do, and doing so using the one-frame of non-locked is unintentional and an exploit.
Again allow me to quote, word for word, from McLean, the developer who worked on Blight.
"He has a turn restriction in place for a reason."

I had a pc just like consoles more. Not everyone is “cheap” scum of the earth because that’s how your acting like console people are. If not you wouldn’t mention cheap and off brand so much. Why don’t you get off your high horse if a game was brought to consoles from pc then guess what it should work the same and properly on both. I know pc will have framerate advantages but if us lower world scum hadn’t bought the game you’d have a lot less ppl playing it and it would die a lot quicker so remember that when you wipe your feet on the backs of us lower class ppl. If you have your sense at 100 then the most you should be able to do is a 90 degrees flick. Anything more and you've altered something to allow you to do more than 90 degrees.

Abusing the 180 flick aspect of his kit is an exploit if you do so knowingly, yes. Considering @MadLordJack is able to play PC Blight and avoid doing so, it's entirely possible.

It's an exploit, there's no need for the mental gymnastics about it and there's no need to 'justify' yourself and act like the people who take issue with exploiters are targetting you personally or something.
Until the devs say people are being banned for doing it, the only reason people have to make threads like this is because they don't want an exploit patched

I honestly could care less if they patched it tomorrow because I main a killer that can't abuse that, my issue is when I decide I feel like playing oni and just because my sensitivity is up I get called a cheater for winning when if I had lost I would've been told to git gud or some other bullshit in the chat

This is elitism at its finest. It's not console players fault the dev's limit us. It's not the hardware other games allow you to turn controller sens up high like warzone. Yes, you gotta buy a good mouse and install it's application and do some settings so your dpi button swaps between 800 and 8000. I tried as well.
