Do you feel the adept challenge is fair?
I have now played over 100 games with the trickster and not yet gotten the adept for him. This made me think about the challenge to get the adept, killers have to do to get it. For survivoirs all you have to do is to escape a trial, and you get the adept. Those who play killers have to get a merciless killer aswell. I was wondering if other people feel this should be changed to just a 4k? Since the emblem system is broken. Share your thoughts, would love to read them! :D (I play on red ranks with killer).

It's annoying but doable, I do think it's odd that the requirements agree different though.

I gave up doing Adepts, and I had all of them. Some were really tough and I think I got lucky sometimes.
I've played about 10 games as Trickster and he is absolutely woeful. I've only used him with 3 base perks and getting an Adept is going to a mission to hell.
You'll have to pray for de-pipping and mediocre green teir survivors. And a lot of luck.

It just needs to be reverted to a 4k with their own perks.
Made 0 sense with the changed they did to it,
Survivor is to just Escape.
Killer has to sacrifice their sanity, then some..

if the emblems weren't borked i'd have no problems with it, but right now you can't get chaser points by downing with Knives, which i spam to no end, so i am not bothering with it till it's fixed

Its exactly the emblem system. Its so old and not a good representation on what happens in the match. Chases award points on killers hitting the survivors, common chases are 2 hits for 2 points. Some killers use their power and avoid doing 2 hits, so why are they punished for it?

I agree with 4k for Adept. But until that happens, I suggest:
1. Derank
2. Don't use his power.
3. Play from 8am to 5pm, except weekends.
4. Pray the Entity to get potatoes.

I heard they made it for merciless because of ebony mori. Now that they changed the mori they need to look at the whole system

I sometimes go for the survivor ones if I'm bored but I don't care enough to go for the killer ones.
Too many killers have objectively awful perks or perks that just don't have enough of an effect on the game. There's also the problem of some killer emblems being decided more by the survivors actions than yours.

Not fair at all. It forces to have many bad games with bad builds. Maybe someday they’ll introduce rank reset as they planned, this should make killer adepts doable.

It can be hard enough to get the 4k at red ranks let alone getting merciless. Compare that to how easy it is to escape for survivor adepts and you start to see how much more dependent on perks killers are and why queue times are so bad.

That's how the game works. Survivors can win if they have a good team mate, they can even win accidentally. Survivors can rank up without learning game basics.
Killers are skilled, we're expected to earn our points.

Is it really a merciless requirement for that reason? If so, then man these devs are dumb. "Let's make adept unnecessarily hard for all killers because of the few times that someone was using a mori, and then let's not revert that change after we've fixed moris." What a joke.

I don't think so. It always required a Merciless Victory, however this could be achieved simply by getting a 4K. The Demise of the Faithful Chapter changed the emblem system, making killer adepts much harder to get.

the requirements of the adept should be, either 3k with more than 25k or 4k regardless of points.

Best thing to do if you need to earn those killer adepts is to not play for a few months and rank back to 20. I earned adept Oni recently on like second try because the players I went against were so inexperienced and I didn’t even have to use or even learn his special abilities. I don’t know why they made these trophies so geared for newer players to earn, but they should make the difficulty uniform across ranks. That means simply tying it to 4K and leave it at that.

Keep in mind survivors don’t have tiered messages based on how they fared in the match. They either have escaped or sacrificed. Killers have merciless, ruthless, brutal, and entity displeased. It’s not comparable.
