Adept Trickster Tips
I have finally achieved adept trickster and it is a battle and a half but I think I have some good tips to help with it.
1) Almost never use his knives. This is sad but his knives injuring dont count towards chaser so you are going to have to be M1 killer man. Use mindgames and try to end chases fast.
2) Tunnel and Slug. This is sad to say as well, but tunneling someone as fast as possible honestly is one of the best ways to achieve this as well. I hate tunneling but get 3 hooks on one person and getting them out as fast as you can gives you the best chance. Also when only 2 people are left, slug and find either the hatch or find the last person to gurantee your 4k.
3) Use Map Offerings. If you get a bad map on trickster you can just say goodbye to that round. It's so hard to pressure giant maps and some maps have loops that are impossible. The map I did the best on was Dead Dawg, once you break the loop able doors it's mostly easy loops you can end fast, and a lot of dead zones and open area for when you actually want to try and use the knives.
4) Get a 3 gen situated as early as possible. This doesnt work the best on every map, but trying to get a 3 gen or a group of gens you can defend well early on in the match can help later at well.
5) Get hooks as fast as possible. Early game is the most important game that can set up the rest of the match. I try and get 2 or 3 hooks before the first gen is done, or have atleast 4 to 6 hooks by the time the second gen is done. This is the hardest part but if you can get fast early downs, it can lead to your victory.
This Adept to me was probably the hardest adept, his perks honestly dont work good on him except for his endgame perk, but trying to go for adept you shouldnt want to even make it to endgame. Starstruck can get some nice value but seeing as your terror radius is smaller, it doesn't work a lot of the time. Addon wise as well, I tried experimenting with his faster injuring with knives, faster movement speed with knives, and his iridescent addons. His iridescent photo card also worked nice, seeing as it forces you to still m1 but it instadowns, but getting a lot of instadowns gives you less points towards adept so dont overuse it.

To me I do find it sad that a 110% killer is so weak the only way to get their adept is not using their power, slug, and tunnel.

It's just not about him being weak, but also bugged chaser emblem, since knives injuries don't give you chaser points.

Yeah if he could atleast gain points from his knives it couldve been better, now I'm just glad I got the adept and I can use good perks

Even if chaser is bugged, would you still be wanting to use his knives? They slow him down so much and have such small hitboxes they weaken him by using them. Just an opinion. I know a lot compare him to Huntress but honestly he's some sort of Huntress, Deathslinger, Plague combo with all their worst elements.

6) Hope you are getting players that are not that good.
I got adpet trickster only because my survivors basicly threw the game with 1 Gen left. It was luck, I don't feel like I really earned it.

I'm normally the type of person that wants to get the new achievements as fast as possible,but i'm definetely gonna wait for him to get fixed/buffed this time.

Hilarious you commented this because one of my tips was going to be lobby dodge. Lost multiple close games as well because they key escaped. Getting players that arent the best really helps lmao

Yeaaaah that's how i got their adept. I didn't throw a single knife. Using his power is a time sink. It takes a lot less time to just m1 them. I see no benefit to using their power. Like you could hit them from a distance, but his spread makes it nearly impossible to hit anything. I'm sure some folks are getting varying success with his power but i personally find it a hindrance.

Having got my adept yesterday at red ranks (so 3 Irri and 1 gold need) I learnt a few tips I hope might help all of you too.
- Chaser is the most difficult emblem to get gold/Irri, best way to get this is to not use knifes to down, use them like the executioner. Run the Caged Heart Shoes, to prevent you falling behind in the chase, hit once or twice then fake into M1. Really helps hits on small loops.
- Again pretend to use you're knives at a pallet, the survivors know you need a bunch of knives, hit them once, then switch and hopefully you can get a slap in before the stun.
- Force starstruck to get use. Find the worst survivor on the team and turn them into slug bait. Slug and proxy to make sure they stay down. As soon as you've reeled in a better teammate, chuck that slug on the hook and boom the more difficult survivor is exposed reducing the amount of time you spend chasing the better teammates.
- Avoid long loops till you're down to two/three. Being a 110% you can't spend time here otherwise your gatekeeper will be toast.
- Spend a few shards on the black cosmetics, (Lavish Longline Blazer and Midnight Dye), really helped me close in on survivors if I moonwalked or came at an angle.
- Up against full SWF/Clicky Clicky giving you absolutely no chance and causing you extreme pain? Pretend to meme. Just long enough to lul them into a false sense of security. It'll get them off gens, and crowding round you. As soon as you chuck someone up with showstopper, it's time to have fun. Probably won't get you the adept, but at least it'll make those games a little less painful ;)
- Don't give up. Against smart survivors they will loop you all game and really take advantage of your movement speed, but eventually you'll get a few below average survivors in your lobby and you'll snowball your way to the adept.
Be aware that using these tips will make people pissy, but you're a 110% with no power and extremely low gen pressure. They only have themselves to blame for not cracking on with the gens and owning you.
FYI - Still found this one easier than release day Blight/Twins on console with all the nightmare bugs on their releases. Probably a close third, but you can make this guy work.

I got it last night. I am red ranks but I got three Rank 15 survivors and one red rank. I also got Blood Lodge so the map was in my favor.
Basically slug for the 4K and don’t use his power. Thank goodness that adept nightmare is over with.

These are some great additions too and I used all of these too so thank you for adding this comment, he is hard but it will work out eventually
