Shard and Experience Gain Observations

Over the few (4) games so far where I've noted my xp gains, I've made these observations. I'll come back and give more detailed info when I have better numbers, but these are just my observations right now.

I'm getting about 500-600 xp each game, lets say an average of 550 for a 10 minute game. (I know that's long for high rank games, but I haven't had fast games to work with yet.)

At level 7 to 11 (where i'm at now), it takes 2100 xp to level up, and you get 150 shards for leveling. That's 14xp for each shard. (Progression speed changes as you level up, but I'm not at those levels yet so I can't use those numbers yet, These are the numbers now for this example and I'll update them as I get more.)

This means for a character: 9000 shards, it takes 126,000 xp, which is (very loosely) approximately 230 10m games, or about 38 hours. Pretty dam close to their estimate they gave of about 40 hours to unlock a character.

Lets look at these numbers with other items:

1 character: 9,000 shards; 126,000xp; 230 games; 38 hours

1 purple item: 7,200 shards; 100,800xp; 183 games; 30.5 hours

1 green item: 4,500 shards; 63,000xp; 114 games; 19 hours

1 yellow item: 1,800 shards; 25,200xp; 25 games; 7.6 hours

1 brown item: 900 shards; 12,600xp; 23 games; 3.8 hours

How about the full sets that cost around 14 000 shards? (i'm too lazy to do the math)

You could double the calculation on the 7200 and guess around 61hrs?

A full set is just 3 items of the same rarity. There's no discount for buying sets with shards, so just triple it.

They said 25-30 hours, not 40.

Was hoping someone was keeping track this early in the game. Thanks buddy.

The time it takes might need to be decreased. Say 25hrs over 40? I just feel like it expects way too much (Although, buying it for £5 is quite minor I suppose)
