why billy was considered trash killer in rank 1 before rework
It's because billy play is so predictable. Any good survivor could easily loop billy (even good billy) for 3~5 gens.

Yep this isn't news to anyone. The ways you made up for his lack of a significant chase power was with insta-saw if you were bad and double engravings if you were good. Addon-less was always average. That hasn't changed either, all these changes did was make him a little more tedious.

I've noticed why he was so predictable. He is always trying to hit with the chainsaw. I like how he is now. Requires u to actually basic attack instead of spamming his power. Gotta choose when to use his power.

his engravings were heavily nerfed though?
I don't remember if they buffed them/returned to old numbers.

I'd consider tier ranking useless except for spirit, nurse, and blight since they have no counter plays. The tiers for killers who have counter plays like billy, hag, huntress and so forth can change depend on who are playing against them.

They reverted the engravings change because even BHVR knew that was absurd. They're even harder to use now though, since the overheat means you get a total of 2 chainsaw attempts before you have to wait for your overheat to cool down. Really fun.

A survivor montage of bad billys won't prove anything. You can find videos on survivors juking Nurses.

If u can't hit them the saw why keep trying? It pointless. They will evade u everytime once they know that's what your doing. That is if they are good enough to dodge Billy back then.

I mean even if it's called "insta add-ons" it wasn't really an instant saw lol do you even know what instant saw was before tinkerer nerf? IMO carburetor + engraving was stronger. Even with these addons he is easily counter-able.
Obviously the billy in the montage wasn't interested in getting kills and was trying to have fun by playing fancy curves. But I wouldn't say he is a good billy but he isn't bad

He was the 2nd best killer more or less. He had high skill, he had counterplay, he was fun to go against and play as but they nerfed him. Now we gotta deal with spirits instead. Every time you are mad at someone for being spiurit remember BHVR nerfed the last killer in that spot

lol 100%. I would rather go against insta saw billy with bamboozle enduring spirit fury billy rather than spirit with stridor. Such a stupid killer.

Never said it was impossible, just that it isn't fun. Because it isn't. At all. Overheat did nothing except make him tedious, didn't even make him weaker, just more tedious, especially with engravings.
