DS still works while being healed?
I got DS'd while the guy was getting healed. That's bullshit why did it still activate?

If you mean the player with DS was getting healed by someone else, that doesn't deactivate the perk. It only deactivates if they heal someone else or heal themselves.

It only deactivates if the owner of the ds is doing the healing (self care or healing another surv).
If someone random is healing them, it's not deactivated.
That's not cheating, it's working as intended. Read the description of perks at the end of the match.

It's not cheating at all. Ds only deactivates if the one unhooked does an action not the unhooked. Re read the perks. The ds holder has to touch an objective or heal themselves for it to deactivate.

why, they aren't progressing the game through an action. This would let people troll by disabling a teammates perk. Such a bad idea.

I'm someone who is very in favor of the DS nerf, but I disagree that them being healed by someone else should deactivate the perk. Healing under hook is very common, to the point that a lot of times I will need to tear myself away from the rescuer trying to farm me for 2000 altruism instead of 1500 because the killer is coming right back to the hook. If the other player is being heal-happy and preventing me from leaving as quickly as I'd like, that would be an awful way to lose DS. I don't run DS, but an overly-altruistic survivor healing me for a half second and me losing the perk would be infuriating if it did happen.
Honestly if you're downing someone within a minute and they were being healed by someone else, that does actually sound like tunneling at that point. They hadn't put themselves back into the game yet and were in fact making another survivor take themselves out of the game to heal them as well. You could've easily gone for the healer at that point and chose not to. That's on you, not on them.

Look at all the other conditions, they're all in the control of the player with DS. It's up to them to decide if they want the perk to deactivate, if they work on a gen and then go down when they could've still had it active it was their decision that made it so it's not active.
Other people healing you doesn't fit that sort of design, as that's someone else's decision. Sure you can hold shift to deny the heal but it's still another player's action and not the unhooked player's action.

No if someone else is healing you that’s not something you can control especially if the start right away after the unhook so you’d lose your DS because of someone else. If they are still injured and not choosing to heal themselves others or do gens then maybe they are trying to get away and not get tunneled which is what DS is for anti tunneling worked perfect in that case I would say.

Let them have a chance to be healed. Look on the brightside DS goes away if they touch a totem or a gen or try to heal anyone else so it’s not that big of a deal imo

If they healed pass 50% it should deactivate. That way your teammate can’t sandbag you either.
