######### is happening with KEYS?
Devs, now that you intentionally changed the variables to check the stats of keys, are you gonna change them or not?
Getting to 1 gen left is not that difficult, you can even sacrifice your teammate. :
It's objective math, factual:
Supposing a survivor is hooked immediately, 3 gens in 80 seconds. Last gen repaired by 3 survivors takes 38,1 seconds (going at 2.1 charges/second).
So the hatch will spawn mathematically always if survivors play well and do gen separated.

I usually run plunders ace in the hole to farm items and i retired it for a bit and im getting better luck getting keys without plunders? Im just like:how tf. For instance i opened 3 chests last game all brown medkits. This game so far i got a red key a rainbow map and a purple medkit.

Keys need a big rework imo, so yeah we need to wait out a response from BHVR...if they even say something

Play some killer so you know how it is when someone on a team escapes just because of a key, even when you've applied pressure and killed most of the survivors.

They know how broken keys are, and they're either gonna nerf it or completely rework it. I think they're gonna do a complete rework, but who knows.

Theres a bug right now where the rarity of any item you search in a chest will be no less than a green rarity. So the chances of letting a key of purple or higher quality is more. I would imagine the likes of luck based items would drastically increase these odds.
The funny argument with keys I find is that killers think its SOOOOO FREE. Granted to a degree. But not as much as theyd think. Fir all 4 survs to get hatch, all hens have to be complete. The higher rank you are, the less likely all 4 will survive that long. 4 gens for 3 survs, 3 gens for 2 survs. Now, keep in mind most killers tunnel key holder so they dont use it. Unless they have an offering to keep upon death, another can pick it up. But it involves deliberately going out of the way to find it and unless your in a team, its less likely they'll get it. Either way, most will have to die if they want to use that key. If all 4 live till EG, then it means they played efficient. If not, then they're still using an item that costs alot just to have. Same as a mori. Heck, PH gets it for free while still bypassing DS and BT. Just how it is.

My guess is, the rework is coming so that is why keys are more common. You don't accidentally mess that kind of thing up. What happened is, they accidentally had part of the rework in but not done yet.

The nerf is coming, but doubtful it will closely follow the DS nerf.
