New struggling on hook how will it work?
Will they die it they miss one
Will they take a chunk away from their health bars if they miss
Will ph cages insta kill if failed?
Or is there anywhere that I can look at the changes?

A chunk of the bar will be lost if one is missed.

My guess is it will be similar to the PH cages.

You won't insta die if you fail a skill check - but you lose a portion of your bar on each skill check fail...the skill checks also get progressively smaller as time goes on, but not super small.
The major difference to PH's Cages is that perks still work on these, as they are still a hook as opposed to the cage - so things like Borrowed Time, Kindred, BBQ etc still works with it. But perks that affect skill checks do not have any effect on them.

Thank you one last thing are they going to be often like pig traps?
I'm glad my a button is spared just wondering because if it's like gens people might get bored.

@onemind similar with pig traps in that perks don't work on them yeah, but skill checks on piggy's traps don't decrease in size whereas these will. And you will definitely get skill checks on these.

They asked if the skill checks are going to pop as frequently as searching a Jigsaw box does. Otherwise being on the hook could be slow and boring as the "tension" of struggling on the hook is no longer there

They're pretty regular, there's not a huge delay in between skill checks but it's not one instantly after another either...the video shown in the tweet is representative of it, you can see the first one and see the spacebar press of the 2nd one.

Hey MandyTalks is there any info on how this version of struggle will work with perks like camaraderie? Will failed skill checks not matter or cease completely?

I cannot believe there are actually people whining this will hurt their ability to suicide on hook.

I believe it will still just pause the timer and you won't have skill checks within that timer as well - I will double check that for you though.

I've double checked this for you, and Camaraderie will pause the struggle phase as normal and you will not get skill checks during that time.
