Freddy's rework

So, I just heard today about Freddy being redesigned to fix him. I was thinking of just what that redesign could consist of and came up with this idea for his ability, terror radius, add-ons and environmental effect:

Change it so survivors are permanently in his dream world (the way it looks now). Thus meaning his ability will need to change. My idea is to make it so that he can teleport from locker to locker at will, with a 3 second cooldown between warps; and requiring him to be within a certain distance of said locker he desires to warp to. Thus making him similar to how he travels around the dreams of his victims in the film (ignoring the locker aspect of course haha). And in conjunction of this, make him have a reduced terror radius much like the Hag's one. Giving him a very fierce competive edge in game.
To accompany this, he can have a new selection of add-ons: one could be that he sees auras of survivors opening doors, searching chests (to go with the gimmick of Quentin's perks) and repairing gens within 12m. Also one that allows him to teleport from a further distance but adds 1 second cooldown to his ability. And another to reduce repair speed of survivors hit directly after warping (bit how begrimed chain works on chainsaw killers) and also have ones thay cause exhaustion, blindness, mangled etc too.

What do you guys think of that idea? (If not for Freddy, maybe this could be a good idea for a brand new killer?)

    I dont know how the mechanics and balancing would work but I like the premise for sure.
