First Person survivor would be cool, but also a nightmare

For a while now, some of the community, including me, have been wanting a first person survivor mode. While I would love this, I think it would be somewhat problematic. The main reason as to why it would probably not work is because survivors have the third person POV to represent their spatial awareness, and having a first person POV would remove this unless you were able to look in your blind spots by glancing, leaning, etc. Another problem would be that you wouldn't be able to preform as well as a survivor with a 3rd person POV, especially when it come to looping. Also, having restricted visions would freak people out when going against a stealth killer. I would like to hear what others think of having a 1st person POV, so please tell me how you feel.

    Honestly if this game became just first person only I would retire.

    I don't mind first person just can't sit there and play for hours. I like it how it is now to be able to switch back and forth from 3rd to 1st person.

    And killer would become extremely easy mode.

    The game is designed around the survivors having the third person camera (as well as the killer have a first person camera).

    You'd quite literally have to redesign just about every single thing in the game if you wanted to give the survivors first person perspective...

    It would require more skill definitely tho I'm not fan of first person camera's games

    Well if they made a different rank system and different gameplay option I would definitelly play that mode as well. Yes for the survivor it is gonna be more harder but being in a first person mode and then seen the Ghostface behind the wall or Myers at your back can be quiet hilarious. But it should be a different survivor mode where you will select and enter.

    I could probably play in first person as a survivor. The only time I think it might be a real issue is when you've got your face buried in a generator. You'd take the terror radius a lot more serious or position yourself to watch doorways to make sure you're not grabbed.

    You'd definitely go down faster in this mode just from sheer lack of awareness.

    I'd love it, but wouldn't expect to win practically ever as survivor. I think stealth would absolutely become the best way to play survivor in first person, and the game might actually become a little bit scary. I'm all for it despite knowing it would topple survivor gameplay lol

    I would love this, as an optional meme type deal. Maybe on April Fools one year swap the survivors and killers perspectives.
