The unfortunate part is that most issues transcend a simple POV fix. Just because trapper's traps were reworked doesn't mean survivors are completely guaranteed a good and fair time. Really, it's just so hard to find balance in an asymmetrical game that it's guaranteed to run into problems along the way.

Can't wait to try him instead of speculate. The laceration meter decay being so short/existing has always been my biggest concern. If you use his knives on a survivor you are forced to continue or you wasted your time and you in turn waste more time. Hopefully these changes make it easier to hit knives consistently because for me on console it seemed like they would just fly in random directions.

Usually when survivors get a "nerf" it's really just a necessary balance update. MoM, instaheals, 60-second no deactivate conditions DS, no entity blocker, infinites, etc. Hillbilly? Did not need the overheat. Clown? Did not need exhaustion add-ons removed. Wraith? Did not need slower uncloak speed. And Trickster sucks, and was weaker on release than in the ptb despite our protests. A lot of killers in the game are unviable against even decent survivor teams. So there's a ways to go before killers are in the right place on the power scale.

But a person's opinions can change, within a day even, especially if they were rage fueled words. I do not rank Huntress as a low tier anymore; I do not rank Legion higher than Deathslinger anymore. I do not bother to respond to every toxic message like I used to. So look at the discussion, what the author is trying to say in it, and take it for what it is.

And had they said "Yeah, right, my opinion's changed" I'd have just deleted it. Like, I used to think Badham was one of the most balanced maps for both sides, and currently I'm well aware of the error of my ways.
But they didn't, implying that they believe both of those posts to be true, as well as this one, which isn't a changing opinion but is hypocrisy.

I want to keep my old discussions up because I want to see how my opinions have changed. If I delete it, it's gone forever and I can't remember what I said. If we can't remember our history, we're doomed to repeat it, right? You're distracting what could be an interesting discussion with, "But you said this on that post from way back when, so you can't say nothing."

Probably my sleep deprivation talking here. But i also don't really see how those previous post correlate with this one.
In his previous post the op complained about how he felt killers were weak.
In this post they complain about how killers aren't gratefull after they recieve buffs.
I don't really see how you can't both find killers weak and find that people aren't gratefull for buffs. Probably just some fellow who was struggling with killer, saw a lot of positive changes coming and get confused that people weren't happy yet while op was excited for the changes. The provocative tittle didn't help but still.
Now i don't agree with them and people should be able to voice if they think the changes aren't good enough but i really don't see how those previous post contradict what they said here. Or has this forum really just become a place where you have to pick one side and when you do you can't complain about the other anymore? And even if it was contradicting aren't people allowed to change their mind?
Most people instantly aplauded you for pointing this out so i'm probably missing something here but i'm really not seeing it. This feels very cancel cultury where you dug up some old post to silence whatever the topic at hand was.

Because killers are not strong enough? SWF destroying killers, even A-tier killers. Game is not fun, they needs buff.
Freddy, Nurse, Spirit, Hag strong enough. Other killers weak or avarage

- Wraith: didn´t really changed a lot.
- Clown: the 2 clown mains on the forum are happy and that sums up all the people that are happy about the buff.
- Blight: got more bugs than before. He bumps off things that he shouldn´t, like invisible walls and he slides past things that he shouldn´t, like cars.
- Trapper: needs some love, because he is VERY addon dependant.
- DS: necesary nerf. It was used in ways that were unintended.
- Trickster: we´ll see how the buffs affect him. Until then i won´t judge.
- Survivor animations: ???
If killers (or survivors) would be fixed, then survivors wouldn´t have 10 minute queues during prime time. So it´s actually a very good indicator on the game balance. Whatever side has long queues, is being stronger.

The fact you look up this guys past posts to use against him when it's in the past and people can easily change their mind. (Which is free will thinking), it's kinda hilarious. 🤣 Also funny how people see it as a massive burn and let it completely derail the thread is hilarious too. Why not just take the conversation as it is, why people gotta deliberately go out of their way to sabotage. You need to be high MMR to understand.
Wraith basically is no longer required to take an addon. This was more of a quality of life fix than anything. Although the uncloak speed duration was a nice buff along with true invisibility. Either way, wraith is probably mid to upper mid tier now.
Clown rework doesn't change much, his counterplay is still exactly the same, just throw down a pallet. He can't do anything, must break it, and has no map pressure, goodbye 3 gens in the first chase.
Blight was again, a quality of life change for his camera and wasn't really a buff. Calling "bug fixes" a buff is ridiculous.
Trappers traps was normalizing RNG, which was good for both sides because it really sucked as trapper when people got out on the first try, but also for survivors when it took them 20 tries.
Survivor animations wasn't a buff or a nerf, it was just updating old art.
Now, let's talk about high MMR, top level play. Just watch a marth stream some time.

Narcissism not quite sure on, but passive aggressive behaviour is what I do. It's been my bevahiour for 7,687 posts, has been since 7:15am on June 16th 2018 when I joined these forums, and will continue to be my behaviour for a hell of a long longer. If you have an issue with this, there's a great solution to benefit us both; just don't interact.

Now I could be missing something here but as far as I know, this says "GoodBoyKaru". Previous name on here was "Doddle28". Nowhere in either of those 2 is "Jack", but okay.

Should it matter? The best thing about it is it works for every scenario, despite what people think. And it involves people to think what it means in this occasion. All I'm saying is regardless of how old a post is, whether it's a day, week whatever. Shouldnt effect what is said in the here and now? Yes this thread was a bit pointless, but right now this guy could simply just venting frustration or trying to understand something.

What even is this... Are people not supposed to complain anymore about things that are in their eyes broken when something completely different got fixed? Am I, as survivor, supposed to believe now that Iri head is perfectly fine because mories aren't problematic anymore? Am I, as killer, not allowed to point out how useless Trickster is after Wraith got buffed? What kind of logic is this?
Hell even if it's about the same thing, if that thing is still game breaking, not working as intended, or just too weak balancing wise, am I not supposed to give my opinion on it?

The title of this thread is toxic by nature. People complain to much, on both sides, and miss the enjoyment of a game. Saying they are "crying" and thinking that 4 adept players VS one is balanced is pretty petty. It is tough to balance, bhvr is what it is and what it has been since the beginning. Just have fun and try not to BM people so much; build the community or chill.

I play killer and survivor 50:50 and I don't complain I just play damn game and what happens happens people really should quit wasting their energy so much on video game and try enjoy it if they can't if their ego is too big for it just play something else

Isn't this post he made now about how Killers just don't appreciate the buffs? IE. They still crying even AFTER they were crying because no buffs were given to them?
I'm not defending OPs opinions in those posts, but if you read carefully the first post you copy/pasted talks about how survivors are ruining the game because of the combos they use in red ranks. The second post talks about how they feel they are forced to play specific killers due to their opinion about survivors being too strong.
I don't agree with his opinions btw. I am just stating that what I am reading is not the opposite of what he just now posted. It is very possible to be a "killer main" and still believe your own group has flaws too as an example.

I mean a lot of us play both sides they crying on both side sometime for good reason it mess up on both sides I mean only play the only 3 killer who can handle good survivor teams where the rest of the killers it an up hill battle.
and survivor side wow what a mess yes swf on com is overpowered and brake the game where solo is almost unplayable tho I seen 4 solo act like 4 swf on coms it weird
