DS was needed change
I see so many post saying it was bad...like how if you were to be tunnel ds was doing the job it was made for....is it because you can't be toxic anymore. If you give me a good reason on why the old ds should've stay....I can with 100 percent say is that you are one of the people that abused it

Nobody is saying it should’ve stayed. People are saying it should be more effective at what it is meant to do.
Make it work on both hook stages. If you tunnel on both stages you should be punished again

When I used to use DS I wasn’t “toxic” and to my knowledge I didn’t abuse it either.
If your happy with the change why are you making this post, just move on.

Old DS was only considered "abused" because a segment of this community doesn't understand how to counter it.
I barely got stunned before as it was, let alone now. Now it just means I can cut corners and not have to worry about whether that person who had no idea I had every intention of continuing to pursue them (seconds after they were unhooked) in an effort to take them out of the game first will no longer have a way to deter me from it.

Do you not see a situation where a person with ds will get in the killer face with borrow time then hit them with ds then do it again on the second time around. That seem abuseable too me. If you don't see what you said can be abused...then nothing more I can say.

I never used ds, because i saw tunneling killers very rarely.
But since the nerf, they are quite common, and thats what makes the game imbalanced.
I agree that ds was too abusable, but now killers abuse the absence of it.
And yes, it is too resticted now. It should keep you save from tunneling, so either it should work after every unhook, or it should allow you to heal yourself (and deactivate when you are fully healed), or maybe even both.
And if you say "just run it", then it becomes a requirement to play survivor, and i belive that is a bad thing (and yes, ruin has the same problem, i agree)

Same as old DS. Survs used it because It was a good perk, and survs don’t have many. Now is a trash perk

I would still use b&c mainly cause of the double blood point. Also this perk encourage killers not to camp and give them an idea on what to do. Compared to old DS which was I can do whatever I want killer and there nothing you can do about it. New DS does what it should.

Also just make an Obsession every match. Not seeing the spider legs means free tunneling.

It was never “abuse” because the perk was not strictly an anti-tunnel perk. This was already confirmed by a dev. Therefore you went by the timer instead.
Now I can play killer and abuse tunneling as I please because I know a survivor can merely touch a gen and they have no way to defend themselves against me going after them specifically.

Well, i agree that it needed to change, because it was abused.
but its nerf lead to a rise in tunneling, and i doubt that is more healthy than before.
And this affectes me, even though i never run ds before or now.
