AT LONG LAST I HAVE FOUND IT, A MAP REWORK THAT ISN'T INSANELY ######### DARK.

I honestly enjoy this brightness, maybe dim it a little but all these dark maps that are impossible to see on are really annoying.

Shouldnt be a problem, youn will spot Survivors full Map away with that brightness (when on a higher position).

Well I am gonna see the map when it's released right now it is artwork and it looks good but I am not sure how it is gonna affect some killers and survivors. We shall see that when they released it.

Maybe my Tv brightness just isn't that good, but on some of the other reworked maps like Badham, Yamoka, Autohaven, Macmillan, and the bottom level of The Game it's really hard to see survivors if they're wearing dark clothing.
I'm just happy I'll finally be able to see the people I'm chasing.

Sometimes Maps look darker for some people. Like, for me, Brightness is always fine, IMO the Maps are too bright already. I am perfectly able to see everything. In fact, I find Blendettes funny, because I can see them while they think they are invisible.
However, when I see videos or Streams, I notice that some people have really dark Maps. And it is not because of Settings, currently I have to play on Medium because of my graphics card and the game is around the same brightness as it was on Ultra, what I had before. Only on low the game is brighter by default.

Console’s can’t change brightness setting and are stuck with default settings. PC gets an advantage in this regard

This is correct. And IMO it should not be possible to make the game brighter by playing on low Settings in the first place. Settings should not give an ingame advantage.

brightness wise i'd guess its going to be similar to the Grave of Glenvale.
i guess they just increased the brightness a bit for the pictures - if i remember correctly, the Autohaven Wreckers rework screenshots were also a lot brighter than the map ingame actually was.

I was just about to mention this.
Ya, they likely increased the brightness and reduced fog in order to take detailed screenshots. When it launches, it will probably be a bit dimmer and have more of a haze to it, similar to Saloon.
