I appreciate that the devs may want to rehaul keys, but..
The fact that you included a single key nerf in this update shows you're willing to do a little bit at a time, too.
A very basic and fair nerf to keys would make it so unlocking the hatch is not instant. Try an unlocking action at 3-5 seconds and increase or decrease that time as needed.
All this would do is stop survivors instantly escaping if they happen to stumble upon the hatch midchase or, if they know where hatch is beforehand, they may have to escape without finding other survivors or going for last minute unhooks.
This may not be THE answer and it likely won't be ALL we need for a change but come on. You guys take years upon years to make simple changes like restricting Iridescent Head to 1 hatchet, changing mori from 0 hooks to 1 hook and finally to 2, etc.
We don't need to wait 6-12 more months for a giant overhaul to keys when you can start attempting smaller changes along the way.

Its just really ununfair that moris got changed that much faster than keys. On top of that moris are pretty useless now and i bet keys will stay strong.

I have no problem with keys the way they are now. Survivors only get to use it when I sacrifice majority of them. Normally only one person gets out using it. I don't have to 4k every game.

I was gonna say I'm hoping the time it is taking for the key nerf is because it is gonna be good.
But considering how long it took them to nerf iri head and what the nerf actually was.
My hopes have all been shot.
