Pre match tip not to cleanse
Can there please be a pre-match tip that tells players it’s in their benefit to avoid cleansing against the plague.
too many matches I see people flocking to cleanse just to then come and sit on a gen next to me suffering from sickness.
like that is literal madness.

No? Because not cleansing is only a tip that works in higher ranks when you're playing with people who are good at running the killer and don't need two health states. Not cleansing also isn't an intended game mechanic, it's just a possible strategy (that again, only works for some people).

Better than getting your whole team killed cause you purge as soon as the Plague farts once in your general direction...

If you don't cleanse, Plague is Tier III Myers.
If you do cleanse, she's 115% Huntress.
People don't cleanse at higher ranks because Myers is weak against good survivors, but both can destroy average survivors.

Well... I've seen it go the other way, where multiple players cleanse, wiping out all the corrupt fountains and forcing a Corrupt purge on a patrolling Plague with no idea where the survivors are...
Oh well...

No. If nobody cleanses, you aren't denying her power, you're falling for half of it. If everyone is broken, you might as well be going against a t3 Meyers. Just without the speed boosts. That doesn't seem ideal to me.

I think a better way to go about it would be to give a tip that explains the risks of cleansing vs. not cleansing and advising to use your best judgment.

It is literally not hard to run early and set yourself up in a loop.

I always cleanse. You can still loop a corrupt purge Plague and hide behind obstacles, but more importantly you get bloodpoints.

If they want to cleanse I have no problems when I'm playing plague but they soon learn after doing it a few times. Let people figure this crap out for themself

I think not cleansing is a bad strategy and that you should cleanse to force her power on a bad time.

Not cleansing works if you know how to loop.
I think what people want is the game to tell them all the possable counter plays so they don't have to figure it out for themselves with there massive 300 IQ and zero skill 😂

Don't worry, if you can't cleanse, just use Inner Strength to get rid of the need to mend!

I only cleanse when broken, not when simply sick. I try to go to the furthest one I can reach without getting in her crosshairs.

Why not just cleanse at the furthest points on the map to make her have to travel out of her way for her power. Tit for tat

Its funny how some of the least played Killers like plague can be "strong" because survivors never get much experience facing them. I think survivors need to do there own research and not have the game tell them how to play.

At red ranks, I have survivors I'm playing with when sick cleanse when they aren't even close to being in the broken state. They then start repairing an infected gen or unhook an infected survivor and the process repeats itself. It's awful.
In my last plague match I even had a survivor fully self care when in the sick state only then to immediately go into the broken, injured state. The problems to all of this simply comes down to the broken ranking system.
