Is farming bannable?
Today in a game one of the teammate dc right away. The killer continued killing(I am totally agree with it) and killed me. I am totally ok with that but then the killer started to farm with the two remained survivors and let them finished 4 gens and escaped. I then told them in the chat that farming isnt correct and i will report them. The killer and two survivors called me salty and said I am new to the game (I am not lmao).
Farming is never a good thing to a game and i understand sometime killer want to be nice but then you need to admit you broke the role! TBH I think it totally ruining my game and I think DBD should really work on stopping this happen again.
It is really disappointing to get this kind of games. And I think it is very unfair to others who play the game normally.

Farming is a grey area, it's obviously not something we approve of, but it's not something that's normally reportable. The only time it becomes an issue is if a player is being forced into a farming situation.

I don't know for sure, but I highly doubt its banable. It's hard to monitor and really the issue is more with the grind the game demands. If the grind was greatly reduced farming would be much more rare. I want to have fun with the game but on the other hand it feels like the game isn't as fun if you don't have perks available for everyone you want.

If thats not approved of, will they got banned after I reported? Cuz clearly those killers and survivors think that farming is ok so i wonder will dbd do anything to correct their mindset.

They won't get banned.
There really isn't a way to stop people farming. You are better off just trying to finish the game asap

A peculiar question (and approach) considering you were not involved and can't even victimize yourself.
Such scenarios are not ban-worthy, particularly if nobody is forced to do it against their will.
