Could we have offline and AI games?
I know it's not a top priority, but I think having an offline, potentially split screen, game mode with bots as well as enabling bots in custom games would bring a lot more players to the game. Some people prefer to play with a few friends, and when you don't have 5 friends, custom games can be a bit dull and I think different difficulty bots would add so much.
Programming the bots would be difficult, as DBD is a choice based game; do you save the teammate or stay on the gen? However you could use statistics to choose the bots choices based on existing online players.
Easy - One or even two bots immediately try to save the friend
Hard - One bot saves the friend just before they reach second stage
If a killer is within a certain radius of the hooked survivor, the bots won't go depending on difficulty. Difficulty decides how loud the heartbeat would have to be before a survivor either hides or runs (with easy players hiding almost immediately and hard bots running when the killer is very close)
Even the looping of pallets could be programmed, with easy bots dropping immediately and leaving whereas advanced bots would play around it as a high skilled player would.
This would take a lot of effort, but I feel like bots are doable and would make the game a lot more appealing for new players, as they could use them to practice. Even experienced players can use them to practice new killers or builds, and it would make custom games much more appealing if you needed fewer friends for it to be actually fun. They could even potentially code hard bots to perform risky saves with BT and DS and plays advanced players can pull off! Plus if you get annoyed at being destroyed, you could cool off by slaughtering some AI!

I'd be happy if they improved the tutorials to teach new players how to perform rescues, take aggro after unhooking, apply pressure to objectives and not hooks.

If Friday the 13th was able to do an offline mod then dbd has no excuse.

I mean it would be nice but I doubt it will be used much and it would require making a lot of assets from scratch. I doubt bhvr sees it worth their time.

There are some things that can only be learned through experience.
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

I can only wish. In the meantime, I'll be using Bond to lead the killer to my hiding teammates :)

Shame auras aren't shown through lockers. Nothing better than seeing a survivor in a locker and trying to open it in front of a killer.
