will resident evil fans get blown out by Toxicity
Once nemesis and leon and claire hopefully come out i feel that players coming from resident evil will get humiliated by veterans of the game and either contuine or stop playing because how hard it is to catch and janky mmr and swf would make a living hell for new fans

Most Resident Evil fans, which I have been since it came out 25 years ago, will have a hard time with the game. Playing against a Tyrant, Nemesis, or others monsters is one thing but against some of the toxic players on DBD is something totally different. They will either be okay with it or simply not play. It will be the DBD community who will benefit the most from the added characters.

then again imagine nemesis a nemesis a killing machine get pallet stunned and blinded at every pallet

You mean like how Pyramid Head, a creature that has a giant metal helmet with no eyes whatsoever, gets blinded? Yeah, it's a treat.

Now that will be cool! To me any killer from Resident Evil will be epic

"Oh boy i love Nemesis he is so cool and is gonna be so op."
Me: Chase me! Chase me!
Killer: Okay...
Me: "Hahaha GET PALLET LOOPED!!!
Killer: *Gets tilted*
Me: *Throws a Pebble at his face and teabags*
Killer: ;(
Me: GG EZ

I honestly don't think they will even pick up on the toxicity in the beginning. They will need to learn the game and its mechanics before realizing they are getting bullied in a sense. When i first started playing this game i didnt care nor do i still care about winning. Toxicity is hard to come by now a days with chat filter and all that.

If they just bought the game because of some RE dlc then they can move on fast.

but what if they get intrested in dbd as a whole

Yeah I think the chat thing should go away...all the time I read so much toxic crap going on in there. When I play now I dont even care about winning,,,I try to play for fun and see if my game play was worthy enough of a pip. Lately though, pips seem harder to get for solo survivors? Ever since the rank reset I play the same yet pip up less and less?

Don't plan on new killers sticking around. We'll be lucky if a small portion have the mental fortitude to stick with the role.

Subjectivity is a thing.

Plenty of RE fans play DBD already, so I'm not predicting a net gain or loss of players.

If that doesn't do it, then I bet the grind will.

Just a friendly reminder :D

You guys are acting like people who are new to this game have never played a multiplayer game in their lives. The community isn't gonna drive people away, the players you're referring to make up a very small percentage of the playerbase. The obscene grind and bugged to hell mechanics will scare people away much more than someone pressing the Ctrl key a few times.

No because this game is not nearly as toxic as people make it out to be, you can't tell me DbD is just as bad as a game like CoD or CS:GO

At least in old cod most of the toxicity was banter. Sure there was actual toxicity, but most of it was just for fun. People on dbd think the game is a life or death situation. I have yet to see toxicity that was just banter on this game in 2k+ hours.

I'm nice so long as people are being nice back.
I don't tunnel, but if you keep body blocking me with both BT and DS so that I can't ignore you to go for someone else- you better not ######### when I ream you out of the game entirely for it.

Agreed, people are so overreacting to this its unreal.

yes but in dbd you flashlight flickerd and blindeded the entire game and god forebid the new players do go into hackers

Come sir you can't be serious. We all know that's not happening!
