Predicting the Resident Evil Killers and Survivors
I do believe the Resident Evil Chapter will have 2 killers, 2 survivors, and a map. I think the survivors will be Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Here is why I think that. Mathieu in that trailer directly quotes Claire Redfield. Kill or be killed. Its your call. That's a Claire quote. Now for Leon, when you see the Umbrella charm hit the ground you see clovers. If you remember Leon gets a clover key in Resident Evil 2. Now for maps, I don't think the teaser has ANYTHING to do with the map but I'm gonna make some predictions anyways. Its either the Mansion or the RPD. I think its the RPD because all this is pointing to a full blown RE2 chapter so why not. I think the killers will be THE TYRANT/Mr. X and THE MUTATION/William Birkin. Here is why I think these are the killers. Remember how the 4 stood for Pyramid Head last year? It says DBD X RE at the end. I'm not saying that's exactly trying to hint towards him but we can't rule it out. As for Birkin we see the 4 leaf clovers which is a mutation and Birkin has a lot more to do with relationships than most monsters in RE. Also when the camera closes it closes in the way an eye does and we all know Birkin's relationship with eyes. And we hear zombies. Birkin has a very close relationship with the monsters and stuff since he created the virus'. It would be cool if there are NPC zombies when you play as him. Yet again another instance of a licensed character being the one to bring an entirely new mechanic.

I like the idea of having Claire and leon as survivors but I would want something from each of the first games, survivors from 2, mansion from 1, and nemesis from 3.

I want chris or leon tbh i want a male survivor And i hope it's not 2 survivors Because we've got a lot of survivors already 2 killers would balance it out

I'm sure Paulie Esther isn't the only person to have that theory. I was thinking pretty much the same thing before I watched his vid.

The issue is though, is that this post came like 2 to 1 day after paulie's video. Which is probably in Trending rn. And probably the 1st when you search "RE Chapter DbD confirmed"
Like I dont doubt that yall had the same idea. I just doubt that he would post this now and not when the announcement was made. (Like I did in my posts)

Where's the issue? It's a pretty easy assumption to make, and I've seen loads of other people theorising the same thing on this forum, Reddit, Twitter, Discord, etc. Esther is by no means the first to come up with this idea.

That's pretty much how it came across to me, just a case of parallel thinking, especially given that Paulie states in his video that he's largely unfamiliar with the RE property and is learning as he does his research, so I'd imagine his theory is based, at least in part, on theories from RE fans that he's come across.
Myself, I'm only vaguely familiar with the franchise, mostly via the RE 2 remake, so Leon and Claire are the survivors I have the most attachment to, but know a little about Chris and Jill.

Perks: Survival and team survival oriented.

idk i tihnk nemesis as the killer would be a huge letdown as that would not evne be scary....it would be better off having a horde of zombies or the mutated ones.

Well zombies over Nemesis? No. But I do think Nemesis is kinda a generic choice.
