Instant Flashlights Need to Go
I’ve been encountering a lot of flashlights that instantly blind you. No buildup, just click and instant blind. Over and over again. These flashlights are usually so OP that survivors will use them right in your face as you’re chasing them. Not waiting during an animation or anything. Can we not get like two seconds to look away? Not instantly get blinded? Not only that it’s over and over.

Well I hate to break it to you but insta blind flashlights don't exist. All flashlights blind at the exact same speed.

I beg to differ. The second I get hit with it there is no buildup. It’s just instant blinded.

Sounds like you've encountered the hackers. Best advice is to deal with it during trial and check their addons in post match. If there's more than 2 addons, or 2 of the exact same(name and rarety) then report.

Yeah, those were long culled. If they're instantly blinding you without any animation or audio cues, they're probably hacking.

Probably an exaggeration but I know what you mean. You can literally look up down left or right as killer, so even the survivors ######### up the flashlight timing or angle, they still get it. And they can blind you in the short time it takes you to vault a window, which is ridiculous. Survivor sided game.

I don't know if it's instant but I too have been in situations where it seemed like the second I realized that someone had turned on their flashlight, I was blinded. I looked away, didn't matter. "Oh, they've got a f-" blind.

I can’t even turn my head to avoid it. The flashlights they were using were an instant blinding. Just turn it on, aim it at my face, and bam. Over. Doesn’t even give me time to look away.

I recommend you to use light born and or franklin's. Franklin's will help you against greedy survivors who loves their flashlights. Light born is basically a perk that help not to get blinded.

What’s funny is. I usually run Franklins cause I main Wraith. The one time I didn’t is when I experienced this lol.

Wraith you say? Mmm well wraith is the easiest killer to light burn. It's where a survivor can blind you when you're invisible, it cause to be visible and to be stunned. Light born can't help wraith unless he is visible. True you can light burn a spirit but it's harder too

I can assure you that insta blinds were removed some time ago. You are either experiencing a hack, or team blinds.
