Will the new object of obsession replace distortion?
I'm a but worried about object of obsession replacing distortion since both now do the same things. Both provide you with information of the killers perks. I'd your healing by the killer and you see there aura then you know they have nurse's.
Even though both do the same thing object is objectively better then distortion since distortion is limited to 3 uses, while object has unlimited uses and an added effect for when your the obsession.
So will object destroy distortion and make it completely useless and obsolete? What are your thoughts?

As of the current state of distortions, yes
but I do think buffing distortion by being able to gain token by doing a certain action will make it better and maybe synergize with object (or maybe it won't since you aura need to be showed to the killer for it to work but maybe That not how it works)

How can a perk replace a perk no one runs as it is?
Anyways, I think there would be merit to running Distortion if the perk wasn't so limited as it is. OoO isn't a replacement for Distortion, but we'll probably see it a lot more as knowing the killer can see your aura gives you info to play around.

Buff distortion to where everyone a gen is completed, you gain one token.

Distortion not only helps you discover the killer's perks, but it counters them as well
OOO (especially if you're the obsession) is a much "riskier" version of it
I personally prefer Distortion as is, and if they were to buff it so that you can gain tokens during the match that would be amazing

IMO, OoO has the potential to overlap/compete with kindred in SQ too, since most killers use BBQ.
