Been grinding the rift for over 10 hours now
Only have unlocked 4 tiers in that time, devs... How do you expect we ever finish this
I don't have yui but cmon man jesus ######### I just want at least 300 more auric cells to buy a new killer

Playing a single survivor game and a single killer game every day will give you much more progress than playing the same amount of games in a single day. You lose out on the first survivor/killer game of the day bonus to rift progression.

The rift is incredibly SLOW to progress... specially compared to other season passes on other games.
The one on Destiny you can complete in 2 weeks if you play a few hours a day.. The Rocket League one is even easier..
Don't know why they make it so damn grindy to complete theirs.. I just ignore it, don't even consider buying it anymore.

There is runout/speculation that next rift will require less grind. But I don’t think there is official confirmation as of now.
also, it’s intended that not everybody reaches the end just by playing, BHVR is a business company and you can unlock remaining tiers with money. Keep in mind everything about the rift/archive is optional and doesn’t affect the actual game at all. And the lore can be unlocked even after the rift closes.

That's interesting, I never knew about this. This will be helpful for the next rift. Do you know exactly how much of a bonus it gives to the rift progression?

Rift Progression is tied to XP gain (which also progresses your devotion level)
you can see the XP gain after every match, and the first survivor and killer game per day just gives a little bonus XP.
though I am not sure about the actual numbers.

First game on each side gives you 300 bonus XP, if you play daily at least one killer and one survivor game, then this bonus adds up to a little over 5 rift tiers. If the required XP for a fragment is lowered as rumored, it'd be almost 8 1/2 tiers just from that daily bonus.
