The new Killer is liscensed

Hear me out here. We've had an aweful lot of American killers for a group based out of Canada. It's probably about time they look elsewhere.

So I give you, Cold Prey (Fritt Vilt in it's original language) The cult classic about a group of snow boarders that take refuge at an abandoned ski lodge, and end up running from a crazed killer.

Now, I know it says snowboarders, in the write up. but you can see in the scene with them carrying the injured guy, they are using cross country ski's.

I know people are saying Yeti, because of the car in the roof. But if you look at the tracks, it looks like it hit something and flipped up there, more then thrown. There's even snow blasted against the wall.

    Tried to look some stuff up, and found this guy in references to the movie. Good call on the whole snow environment, and hammers. This movie fits in with kates* new outfit, too.

    I loved that movie.

    Although in the movie it was a hotel and in the DBD picture it looks more like a ski lodge. Wouldn't put it past them to put their own twist on it though.

    This is probably the closest thing if you're trying to make a movie match up. But Mountain Man was in a hotel, not a ski resort.

    Plus a license has to actually add value for the game. A relatively unknown movie doesn't bring much to the table to make it worth getting the license if you ask me.

    A licensed character has to be a widely known property to make it worthwhile to add, in my opinion.

    I'm strongly feeling an original killer on this one.

    They are going to show a trailer in a week or 2 it's not licensed

    If it's not licensed, it could be a wendigo, like the things you get chased by in "Until Dawn." Which takes place in an old hotel/ski resort, on a mountain.

    Either way, can't wait for that trailurrrr

    I still think them dropping the teaser the same day that Alaskan town loses the sun for 60 days is pretty coincidental timing.

    Won't be a licensed killer for sure, at least not this year anymore. Dunno why people still think that.
