He’s strong against uncoordinated teams but good teams make him a pain. Constant disarming and knowing where your traps are mid chase

I like playing trapper but i acknowledge his place in the tier lists. Headsets destroy him. If one person see's you plant a trap they all know where it is. He also requires time to setup. Which is something killers dont have against competent survivors.

Yep that’s why Trapper needs to start with all traps because it sucks having to walk across the map just to get a trap and have 3 gens pop by the time your all set up

Nobody ever falls into traps at red ranks. They constantly pop them or swf just disarm ahead of chases.

If you wanna zone for free, play Pyramid Head or Slinger. They can do it even against better teams. Trapper isn't good at it vs good teams.

At low ranks he is an absolute beast who can end games in minutes. Against survivors that are experienced or those who have played trapper will expose him. You can beat swf teams with basement games, some will DC which is still a win. If they gave him the brown trapper bag as basekit, who then get a free addon spot where the bag used to be, instantly making him a bit better.

You can destroy greens/purple with every killer easily. The survivor dont know what they are doing. Even many red ranks dont know how to play.

Trapper is an odd one.
His traps are basically insta downs waiting to happen. Against teams who are bad at spotting them or guessing where he might put them... he absolutely shreds them possibly harder than any other Killer. Against Survivors who can spot and avoid traps... he... basically hasn't got a power and spent a bunch of time setting up for zero benefit so he gets wrecked.
