What is your most despised killer perk
For me it’s Tinkerer + Ruin. That on Freddy or Blight is extremely annoying to face, what about you???

NOED, free easy downs for the killer and if it’s solo Q you just camped to death after getting hit by it.

NOED
I know it is still weak, but gosh darn it if it isn't annoying to be hit by. It sucks ito be hit by it in solo queue.
7 -
NOED, Crowd Control, Starstruck.
The first two punish survivors for...surviving/playing well...and Starstruck literally punishes people running off meta builds that don't even work the majority of the time anyway...and is broken on a killer like Nurse.
Self-care is a pretty ridiculous killer perk, too. ;)
I'd also add that in the reverse, I hate Dead Hard for the same reason I hate NOED and Crowd Control; it erases mistakes and removes a need for outplay the majority of the time, especially if the survivor is laggy.
1 -
Infectious Fright. It is not broken. It is not OP. But I hate it.
2 -
Man I hate NOED with a passion
3 -
Bamboozle
4 -
Infectious Fright on certain killers
At least I can get rid of NOED.
3 -
Ruin. Horrible to play with (normally gets broken super early) and horrible to play against (sometimes no one can find it and the killer also has ruin so you die). Not really looking for it to get a change, I just personally hate the perk and other hex perks
2 -
Infectious Fright on a sweaty nurse. It kinda pushes the nurse to slug at 5 gens for some reason.

Noed and Sloppy butcher are really annoying.

there are a couple things i hate in combination with certain other Perks or Killers.
i dislike Spirit Fury + Enduring, Tinkerer + Ruin / PGTW + any high mobility Killer, Stridor + Spirit, ...
but i think the one Perk that i genuenly dislike on any Killer has to be Bamboozle.
for me thats just the "i cant loop so i just eliminate this structure immediately" Perk.
2 -
Insidious, it promotes one of the worst gamestyles in the game and is extremely useful against Solos which I play, while I never fall for it the people who get paired with me do and doom me with them (unless I get lucky hatch).

Noed, not because I dislike Noed but I dislike how scared my team gets with it. As soon as noed triggers and you get downed you will not be saved no matter what. Come on, you can unhook one of your 3 teammates guy
I think noed is fine but hate how teammates abandon each other sooo quickly

Honestly. Sadly NoED. It's the only perk that really is a hindrance. Especially when playing solo. In a game all about getting the hell out as fast as you can before the killer can kill everyone, side objectives can really be bad. Time it takes to hunt for totems and still spend the 15 - 20 seconds cleansing them as well - usually can take 2 - 5 minutes of hunting totems if you're going out of your way to try and find the last one. And that time could be spent trying to escape. When i play killer, doesn't matter who I have it on, I refuse to use the perk myself because i just feel it creates those toxic scenarios where survivors will then just flat out be toxic in endgame chat.

NOED
1 -
Tinkerer on a high mobility killer like Billy or Blight. When combined with pop or ruin, it makes trying to finish a gen absolutely oppressive.
2 -
I don't really despise any killer perks since most of them are balanced and the rest slightly weak. I can't say the same for survivor perks through.
6 -
Yeah I totally agree with this
6 -
If only there was a way to get rid of some of these perks you guys dislike... If there was some sort of totem made out of bones you could break... Oh well I guess that would add another button to your hold M1.
3 -
Sure, bc structures like coal tower are totally fine and by no means abusable against certain killers (cough Trickster cough). Sure there are situations where a killer does not need it to end a chase if they play skillful enough. But there are also a ton of disgusting loops where Bambozzle is really required for certain killers to catch a survivor in a timely fashion.
3 -
Haunted grounds. Sorry I cleansed a hex totem game.

I don’t think so. Unless you are on a really high mobility killer, which there are like 4 total, you basically have to combine it with discordance otherwise it will be useless half the time because tinkerer procs like ~7 seconds before a 2 man gen stack finishes it.
Then you need pop, which is time consuming to use and requires a down. Or you gamble on Ruin.
So tinkerer ends up being 3/4 perks for your build, and it’s still hard countered by spine chill, open maps, and looping the killer long enough they don’t get pop value.
2 -
... i can play just fine without the perk.
its absolutely not needed.
0 -
Not saying it is needed. But on some killers or some setups, it can get so PAINFUL to not have it. Bc you are FORCED to loop around a nasty setup for extended periods of time, or to abandon the chase. No-win scenario, esp. when survs recognize that and abuse the crap out of that setup.
1 -
Oppression- cuz ain’t nobody got time for that damn random skill heck!
0 -
It could use a little cooldown tbh
3 -
Whatever the Wraith has. They went and buffed a character to the point of essential perfection. He's invisible, insanely fast, and silent. All he needs to do is rush up on you from an angle you may not be happening to look in and boom, he's uncloaked and hit you. From there it's pretty much just prolonging the inevitable loss.
This is demonstrated by the (anecdotal) fact that I'm now against the Wraith four or five times more than I was before the latest patch, and I usually don't even know it until I or another teammate has been knocked down. It's a pain in the ass. What counterplay is there to someone who just suddenly appears right next to you and can hit you before you have time to get out of their reach?
2 -
BBQ, Iron Grasp and Iron Maiden.
Then again all easy to counter.
BBQ -hide in a locker
Iron Maiden - don't hide in lockers
Iron Grasp - don't get caught or better still don't try and struggle it's pointless. 😂
0 -
Nah, I don't think so. It is just annoying, nothing else.
0 -
Bamboozle.
Day be so fine looping shack then boom entity blocker before 3 vaults. :(
0 -
This man spittin faxx
0 -
Knockout.
It exists only to make solo Q players suffer and does nothing to SWF
3 -
Insidious and Infectious Fright.
Insidious promotes camping and Infectious Fright is just very annoying to face (Especially on killers like Nurse and Oni).

For me it's hands down... Monstrous Shrine!
You go to all that trouble to hook someone in the basement, and all it does is take away 10.5 seconds out of their 120 seconds on the hook. ######### even is this perk? That's only 5.25 seconds per hook phase, that doesn't create any urgency for the survivor team whatsoever, it's just useless!
1 -
I can't believe this perk hasn't been messed with at all. It's a cool idea but is terrible in application
0 -
It was designed in the 2016 era where survivors only lasted 60 seconds on the hook, so 30 seconds per hook phase, and even then it still only shortened the whole hook time by 9% or 5.4 seconds total. I mean sure, it reduced the chances of self escape on the initial hook phase so that survivors with Slippery Meat would have a higher chance at self escape on a basement hook, but still... With the addition of Deliverance, and how the current game operates, it was rendered even more useless than ever. If I were to tweak it, I'd make it this way:
Buff the perk to - Survivors have 3 less escape attempts, and sacrifice progresses 25% faster when hooked in the basement.
Explanation - 25% of 2 mins is 30 seconds, or subtracting 15 seconds from each hook phase so 45 seconds per hook phase total, adding in the fact that unless the survivors bring in Slippery Meat, they'll have to be rescued by their teammates... This makes being hooked in the basement a much more dire situation than current Monstrous Shrine.
As mentioned above, Sometime after Hag came out the devs doubled the hook time from 1 min to 2 meaning survivors used to only have 30 seconds per hook phase, And current monstrous Shrine was designed with these the old timings in mind but was still underwhelming even back then. This suggestion is a sort of middle ground between how hooking used to be in the early days of the game, and how it is now, while only applying to the basement hooks, and finally giving Monstrous Shrine the buff it needs to be a threat that creates urgency to survivor team.

I could be into this. Yeah I thought it was based on old hook mechanics.
I would honestly similar double the current percentages and make them applicable for all hooks. It would still potentially need a buff tbh

Noed. Free insta downs.
1 -
Noed, a crutch perk. IMO it should be nerfed hard or removed.
0 -
Definitely Devour Hope when I'm playing in solo queue with random potatoes. Sometimes the maps can have insane totem spawns and the whole team runs around for 2+ minutes looking for the totem while getting instadowned. Basically mid-game noed with built-in moris, which can be paired with hex undying to become 2 times more annoying to deal with. It's always a gamble when you find a totem in the early game, because you can get lucky with devour hope or demolish your own team by popping haunted grounds. Obviously, I'm not cleansing if I'm facing a spirit.

You say "killer perk" and then go on to list 2?
Anyway, mine is Franklin's by a landslide. Destroying items permanently is such a bad idea. We spent bp on those items, 3000 at min and 7000 at max, and we don't get near enough bp for our grinding as it is. If the items are so powerful that a perk is required to deal with them, then maybe rebalance the items instead of putting this band-aid fix of a perk into the game.

Franklin's or Ruin+Tinkerer

Same here

Lightborn, flashlight saves are the only skillfull and rewarding survivor abilities and that perk make flashlight saves totally impossible
1 -
There’s a decent number of crutch perks in this game my guy. Nerfing it for that reason alone definitely isn’t fair.

This content has been removed.

Noed. I dont think its op, but its frustrating to go down against someone who relies on it and then you get never unhooked bc everyone leaves.

Franklin’s Demise. A weak perk that exists only to annoy or troll, or to counter keys. Overrides white wards which is dumb. Yet another killer perk that is much weaker against SWFs (to the point of uselessness) yet extremely annoying for solos. In solo queue it basically guarantees the loss of your item since if the killer commits you can’t go back, you can’t get a friend to pick it up before the entity takes it, and if a random grabs your dropped item they’ll just keep it.
2 -
Franklin's aka one of the most anti fun perks in the game.
0 -
As concept, NOED, im sure nobody needs me to elaborate.
Most annoying: Franklins as it makes me lose precious items even if I escape
Outside of those, corrupt intervention, especially on indoor maps. takes me forever to find an unblocked generator and really throws the game game up in the air at the start. Fantastic perk though, and not at all OP, just hate going against it.
