If someone can explain to me how characters from this game would work in dbd

This was a literal option in the player satisfaction survey 😂 😂 😂
The last time i checked this game was about half human white haired dudes saving the world from demons and i don't know how that even is an option there.
The only explanation i can think of is that the entity takes away their powers but they would still look so out of place with the other survivors.
Plus it would probably be a not so well known license.
I think Resident Evil is the only IP that should be in dbd from capcom.

They wouldn't put them as a chapter, but either as cosmetics or do an original chapter with inspiration from it. Same thing can be said for Final Fantasy.

There's human characters in Devil May Cry like Lady
Also a huge variety of monsters, but majority of them aren't really humanoid so.
Unless they're open to having Vergil as a killer.

I have no idea tbh. I feel like they'd have issues with selecting a killer. No doubt mostly everyone would want Dante as survivor [I'm more of a V person myself lol] but they'd have to decide who the best killer would be. Knowing the fanbase it would have to match the overall vibe of DbD ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Scooby Doo fits more than Dante.Mystery inc from what i remember actually go to either haunted or spooky locations to unsolve the mysteries behind them.
Dante just fights demons all the time.So his lore would be like:
Dante goes on a mission and in the middle of the fight the entity claims him.
Lady would be a much better pick imo but she is not well known like Dante is.And if there was anyone to be added from dmc here it would be Dante.We all know devs go for main/most iconic characters.

To be honest. DMC is not as well known to younger players. I (sadly and wish I could have) never got to play DMC and I'm in my late 20s. I imagine not many people younger than 21 know anything about DMC and those who do know the bastardized version. It's been a series that has loyal fans but if you missed the boat...you missed the boat.
I could see DMC skins getting in but not a full chapter
