Why I think Jack Torrence from the shining is a good idea for a killer.
Hello everyone! I have always loved the movie, The Shining. It involves all of the issues of mental illness into a crazy horror film!
Now I don’t wanna waste your time so I’ll get to the point. The Shining is an amazing movie that should be in DBD! The map obviously would be the hotel or hedge mase. The killer would be jack and the survivor would be his wife.
Even though jack doesn’t have the horror look, he could be like trickster, not too scary but involves a killer mastermind look.
His mori could involve the line, “HERES JOHNNY!”, and other funny aspects to it.
the lore of the movie is good enough for a solid backstory
what do you think about the shining and it’s aspects to being in DBD.

I am a huge Kubrick fan and this is one of my favorite horror movies. I would adore seeing this in DBD.
But power wise, I don't know what it would be. But, Jack does have the shine as well, just not as powerful as Danny's. So maybe something with that.

I really don't think that would be very good. As much as I love The Shining, both the book and movie, I don't think Jack would be a great addition to the game unless they somehow figured out how to make it work. I do think the Overlook would be a great map though.

Maybe since jack goes crazy in the movie, he could have a vision that’s kinda thermal that detects survivors better, or maybe something in where you can summon the twins and these twins are like a sensor, they start saying out loud “come play with us” alerting that a survivor is near?

The Shining is one of my favorite horror movies as well, I'd love to see Jack in the game.
