Scooby doo
In the new survey one question was what licenses we want in the future, and there where options given like F13 or Supernatural. But also Scooby doo! Is this really a serious option? What do you think?

I don't think there'd be a Scooby-Doo chapter because there just... Isn't a viable killer. The closest we'd get is the Evil Entity from Mystery Inc. but I don't think that'd fit the game.
However, we are meant to be getting a skin set from Crypt-TV (people have told me I cannot verify this myself) so it's possible we could get licensed skins- Fred for David, Shaggy for Dwight, Daphne for Meg, Velma for Elodie, etc.
Maybe even Miner '49er for Trapper- though I'm not sure how much that'd work since his real name isn't Hank.

It's a serious option and wouldn't be the first time Scooby Doo has crossed over with something with a more mature rating. The crossover episode they did on Supernatural was ######### brilliant.
I'm not super familiar with Scooby Doo so I don't know what kind of character could be chosen for the killer and I feel like if this did happen it'd be a situation like Bill and Ash. Maybe even just a batch of cosmetics.

All the non-horror and younger audience stuff on the survey makes me think DBD is going to start being adjusted to have a lower rating to bring in more/younger players since they tend to have more disposable income.

At this point, I'm not entirely sure why they didn't put Bendy and the Ink Machine as an option.
Thinking about it, BATIM would probably work ever so slightly better than Rambo, assuming they could work with the heavily stylized art style.

I could sort of see it as a cosmetic. As a paragraph, maybe-ish but other than a silly Scooby costume it'll be Shaggy who will become an insta-meme survivor. No chance with a chapter.
What I was pleased with was how many ideas and different medias that were available. Heck, even Persona made an appearance! Not that I think it would be easy to pull off, but a killer who can use a Persona as a weapon would be quite something!

I was concerned about this as well. There were all those questions about whether we found any of the content offensive or if it had a place in the game. And then the Scooby Doo thing. This is on top of a handful of joke / meme outfits already in the game.
Please BHVR, I really don't want this game to be another Fortnite. I quit playing that game after a weekend because of how obnoxious it was and it's only gotten more extreme since.

As a huge Scooby-Doo fan, I don't see it happening. No one ever actually died in Scooby-Doo (except the villains in Zombie Island I guess). Most of the villains were fake, and even the real monsters never got to kill anyone in the end.
I could see them adding cosmetic sets for the gang, but that's it. The show has always been for kids and they've never done anything so violent as DBD. It would be a huge change of pace for Scooby-Doo.

As long as enough players want a thing for long enough, it'll be an option eventually.
I bet if literally every player wouldn't play until Spongebob is brought in as a Killer, you'd soon be catching Survivors in your jellyfish net & put them on giant fish hooks.

I feel like they'd make Nea as Thorn, and Elodie as Luna. I don't know who they'd choose for Dusk but I feel like it'd fit Yun Jin.
And as Kelnec has shown, there's already a DIY Daphne, so there's that. o(￣▽￣)ｄ

A Scooby Doo / Scrappy Doo skin for The Twins would be cool. Even just a Scrappy Doo skin for Victor would good.

I'd be exited for them in DBD. Skins are fun but I'd rather go for original characters.
Shaggy Perks
1. Scaredy Cat: When killer is near, you leave no scratchmarks and make no sounds of pain for 15s. Cooldown of 60/50/40s.
2. Scooby Snack: Consume 1 Scooby-Doo snack when injured to heal one state. Consume 1 Scooby-Doo snack when healthy to gain haste status for 15s. 1/2/3 Scooby-Doo snacks per trial.
3. Zoinks!: once per trial you can set up a trap to incapacitate killer for 10/12/14s.

"Scooby Snack" and "Zoinks" would be way too powerful. I mean Scooby Snack is basically a better Inner Strenght, and Zoinks is just absolutely overpowered. Just imagine all 4 survivor using it, there would be no chance for the killer.

Seeing all the Scooby Doo suggestions just shows how childish and hypocritical the community is.
God forbid you add a killer with the ties to K-Pop even tho he's a psychopath. Or want Five Nights at Freddy's ...
But Scooby Doo? Sure, why the hell not?
And don't get me wrong, I'm all up for Scooby Doo. Even if just as character skins. I'm down for everything as long as it explores different tropes of horror. I just find it stupid that people literally want something from a kid's show but most of other actual HORROR icons don't fit in according to them lol.

Nah that'd be when she's downed- "My glasses- I can't see without my glasses!"
And if someone heals her up it's "There they are", but if she's picked up by the killer it's "There they- woah!"

Oh if this becomes a thing 4 man Swf will become a joke imagine loading in and seeing 4 same platform survivors holding flashlights and toolboxes but oh wait they're the Scooby gang I would let them go just for putting in a bit of comedy to a crappy match 😂
