Just bought Clown with Iridescent Shards, and I'm lovin' it.
So, I've only done one match with Clown, but he feels great. Although that might just be the fact that I actually got survivors that weren't way above my rank for once. Unfortunately, they were actually slightly below my rank.
I was only running VHS porn and Bamboozle, which I used exactly once. I stopped to reload constantly, only used the Antidote once, after hooking the last survivor, and I missed pretty much every single bottle throw. He was still an absolute monster in a chase, mostly due to how survivors seem to be actually intimidated for once.
The way his power handles just feels so smooth! It's like skating on butter at a hundred mph throwing bottles of chloroform at people while chasing them down with an oversized butterfly knife.
He was so good, I actually bought cosmetics. Now I'm an obese, goth clown that huffs bleach and never stops laughing.
Anyway, I'm running out of time to write this, but I wanna know if any of you have some tips for Clown.
I'm just gonna tag @TheClownIsKing for when he comes back, since he's the resident expert on the subject.
EDIT: I thought I should mention what tips I've gotten so far from this lovely community:
- Aim high, so that the gas spreads down and either fills the room or goes over walls
- Reload after each hook, and be conservative with your bottles so you don't need to reload before then
- Throw bottles where survivors are going to be, not where they are
- (Thanks to Onemind and ClownIsKing) If you've got good aim, you can hit the top of a wall to gas both sides of it

Hey that’s the set I use!
As for tips aim where the survivors are going rather than at them. Make sure to aim slightly higher as well to make the gas spread further

COngrats, I hope you enjoy, i sure love him. If you need help understanding a bit on hwo to play him then I advise you talk to some other clown mains like @TheClownIsKing , or @ClownIsUnderrated , I too am a clown main and I have very decent knowledge about him

Something clown is king told me is if you can get good land bottels on the top of tiles so it hits both sides of the wall it's hard but not impossible. Something I do is if you cant do that throw it higher it expands further so if you get the game thrown it at the ceiling might cover the entire room

I suggest only reloading after each hook. You have to be more conservative with bottles, but that isn't really a problem once you get the hang of it.
