Would a proximity chat fix survivor solo que ?
I have been thinking about this for quite a while i always wanted to communicate with other survivors from different platforms instead of using things like discord.

Proximity chat is and always will be an awful idea for this game.

No I don't think so, proper matchmaking would help far more.
And in terms of communication, VCH would ruin the immersion for a many players I'd bet, besides it beiing used for insults rather then useful info. In my opinion it doesn't fit in DBD at all.
Someting like in game text lines like in identiy V would work far better for DBD.

Noooooooo. Chat will give survivors a massive advantage. Best thing they could so is have basic chat system with premade phrases. Like "come here". Or like "Don't rescue me". Sort of like battlefield 5 premade chat.

I prefer this idea tbh. Proxy chat would be pretty fun as an option for customs tho.

Welcome to dbd problems. Where the obvious fix would get shut down so now we still gotta fix solo queue still.

I dont know about for survivors but imagine how hilarious it would be if the killer had proximity chat and could talk to the survivors.
Creepy, funny, and maybe a bit toxic but I would love it.
