are we expecting new models with the midchapter update for the 4 original chars?
seems weird to give a sneak peek now when the anniversary chapter is still so far away but the midchapter is right around the corner.

Yeah, I believe they want to see who the community votes for first then they'll slowly reveal the other three over the coming weeks depending on how popular they are. So, basically, most popular shown off first to the least popular shown off last kinda ordeal. That's just my opinion though.

They did this before with map reworks.
Make a poll about which realm people wanted to see reworked, then revealed both next week.
There's no way all 4 aren't getting an update at the same time given previous times they've done these polls.

from all I found it seems to be like this:
Quentin's actor gave his OK for the remodel, but the licenseholders said no (likely they want more money). I think it's a similar case for Nancy and maybe Laurie

I'm really interested how Claudette and Meg will look updated. Idk I think those two need a graphical update the most.

No, they should be completely new characters. They look like they'd be awesome to have and it wouldn't hurt to have more characters with original chapters. That pre-Claudette looks nothing like what we have now and seems to have a completely different personality to what I envision Claud to have. We should make a separate thread to discuss it and get the devs to notice.

Claudette was in the trailer, she was the dead girl on the hook in the basement. Easy to miss, you have to pause it at the right time.

Yeah I have seen both, Alpha Meg was still supposed to be a runner and Alpha Claud was a nerd. So I guess they could fit as Legendary skins. I mean, the Krampus doesn’t really have much to do with the Trapper and Lisa Garland/Cybil Bennet seem like they are very distinct to Cheryl!
i just think those alpha versions could be neat way to introduce Legendary skins for Orginal survivors. Best case scenario would be free for all as legendarys for the original. For the 5th year anniversary. Kinda fitting I think!

From my understanding he already had a face rework on the mobile version. Presumably they can just export that over to the PC version like they already have then-mobile-exclusive cosmetics

Wow, I'm really surprised at how many people think that Meg needs work. I think she's very attractive. With her hair down and her midriff on display in the fortune teller outfit (or wearing the skinny jeans that reveal her dimples of Venus) she is the embodiment of feminine beauty. To me her face and body shape is extremely pretty in a realistic way, a way that you'd actually see on someone in real life rather than the fake, overly made-up plasticized Hollywood type of pretty.
If they drastically change her I'm going to be really disappointed.
