What's DBD's genre
Somebody brought this up a while ago and it got me thinking. What the hell is DBD's genre? Does it even have a genre? Surely, there has to be some games that are similar to it, even the most niche games fit into some categorization.

I guess slasher is the most basic genre? A vague genre would be survival horror, but that then negates the killer's role.
