Do you remember when you got the game and your first match
I don't really remember when I got it I think it was around late 2017. I got it at GameStop. TBH I don't really know how I heard of the game I think it was because of Hybridpanda.

Yes, i got it one or two days after launch, i played with Wraith for five or so matches and then quit, i just started to actually Play the game after the Last Breath Chapter, been doing so for over 3k hours now...

Nope. It was during the game's beta, so a month away from five years ago.
It was against Trapper on MacMillan Estate of course, and I was most likely playing as Jake.

Christmas of 2019.
First Survivor Match (I had tried the game before, but I spent the match hiding in a locker from a Huntress and then got killed in chase after 6 seconds) I played as Dwight against a Spirit on Lerys Memorial. I did 75% of a generator and spent most of the match running around like a chicken with their head chopped off. I got confused by the map. I made it almost to the exit gate, but got killed.
My first escape was against a Billy on Lerys. I didn't do much more than my first match, but I got out because I hid behind the trash can when the killer got one of my teammates.
As a killer, my first match was as a Spirit on Red Forest. I did NOT understand what phasing was, and didn't get a single hit. I think by misfortune my next match was ALSO on Red Forest with Nurse, and lemme just say Red Forest as Nurse who doesn't know how to blink and spends most of the match walking around is NOT fun.

I first got the game in August 2020 and first match was a killer match as nurse on rotten fields and managed to kill them all because 2 of 3 of them were afk and were new to the game as well.

Unfortunately, I do.
May of 2018, played Wraith against 4 Ochido wannabe Claudette's. GotBM'd the entire game, killed a Rank 20 they used to abuse the matchmaker and got spammed with vitriol for several hours.
Didn't play again until October.

Bought the game on sale after a free weekend in early 2018.
I started off with Killer and played Trapper, we landed in Fractured Cowshed. The match lasted 45 minutes and I actually didn’t kill anyone because I was being extremely merciful.
The most memorable moment of my first DBD match was I had three Survivors trapped in a dead-end of the cowshed fence route, because back then there were a bunch of dead-ends in the cowshed. None of the windows were open either.
They all crouched and stared at me waiting for death but I backed up and swung my weapon to let them out and tell them to run away. Gave them some time and continued chasing.
I used to watch DBD gameplay videos before I played the game the first time so I knew how noob Survivors had it hard before they learned. Can’t say I wasn’t terrible at the game as well though.
Still, I let everybody escape, we exchanged GGs and goodbyes, and headed on to our next matches.

My first match was as Claudette on Torment Creek and the killer was Pig,I got tunneled and died.

Oh yeah, my friend made me play on his account and I proceed to miss all skill checks and to last 5 seconds in a chase against a trapper. Good times

My first match was actually super good, bought the game after 2 of my friends asked me to (they played like 2-3 matches before). Went against a wraith on sanctum wrath and the map made it so much scarier.

2017 against a Huntress and I found it terrifying. Oh to go back to the days of finding this game creepy.

I got the game back in February! First match was against an Oni in Lery's. I was scared out of my mind (the ambient noise and general where-is-everything in that map did not help matters), but the Oni was just as clueless as I was. I only went down at the end gates, despite my constant terror and failed skill checks. I'm not sure he knew how to hook me, though, because he just stood over me and picked me up if I tried to crawl away for the entire EGC timer. Then he'd put me back where I was before I started crawling. I just accepted that this was my life now.
My first killer game was as Wraith against a SWF who brought 4 BPS and just wanted to farm. Which was great, because I was terrified of playing killer and had been dipping my toes in for an archive challenge. I just ran through Badham binging my bong until survivors stopped running from me, and then they showed me how to break pallets and stuff. Honestly a pretty fantastic christening experience. It was like a custom game, except I got 100k BP for it to put into perks. Did wonders for me being less scared of the role.

It was about... 1 month after the official release I think? Not long before Nurse went live, I remember that much.
I did survivor first as it was my extremely biased survivor co-worker who got me into it.
My first survivor was Meg... and it ended with me ending up in a trap.
I switched to killer pretty fast, played Wraith to his first teachable then stopped because by that time I realize how bad both he and his perks were and I wasn't sure i wanted his bad perks poisoning the bloodweb yet (our bloodwebs were huge back then and much more expensive). So I switched to Trapper and he was the first one I got all his teachables on as Agitation and Brutal Strength were considered must-haves back then. By that time, Michael had came out and I switched to him and finally hit the red ranks for the first time.

As killer: Billy, 3 miraculous kills, i spent like 10 min bumping into trees and walls with my chainsaw...Back then, I thought Billy and Nurse were the worst killers in the game 😂
As survivor: Laurie, just to figure out how every Laurie escape from my grasp the first time i pick her up...I didn't understand the teachable perk system 😁

December of 2018.
I don't remember my first survivor match, but I probably didn't survive it.
However, I still remember my first killer match. Old Freddy on Torment Creek. Survivors were just as clueless as I was, and if I am not mistaken I got 2 kills that game.
After that match I fell in love with the killer experience and Old Freddy's power, and played for hours on end.

Yes, I got it early 2018, got completely destroyed since matchmaking was worse than it is now, the survivors had insta heals and I was using addonless wraith since I just got the game and my brother told me that he was decent.
The good old days of rank 15s and real red ranks vs a rank 20 killer who just got the game.
I quit dbd for about 3 months and continued playing until now.

I got the game February 2020, and i got it off the xbox store.
I had been wanting to get it for a couple of years before i did after watching ohmwrecker, h20 delirious and the likes. but just couldn't spare the money at the time
I can also remember my first match(es), it was as Feng and then as Wraith. Because of watching how the game works for a couple years beforehand i did pretty good. Plus i will always be able to go back to my first matches as they are YouTube.

I was an immersed default dwight on rancid abattoir and a Feng player called me a "hiding little #########" so that was good first impression.
This was pre huntress btw, pallet vacuums, peer to peer, etc.

My first match was as a Huntress during a free week, though I had an interest in it since the Nightmare on Elm Street chapter somehow caught my eye on a channel I liked (no clue why, I wasn't even into horror at that time). My very first hatchet throw hit a Bill from a considerable distance away. Don't remember much else, but that hatchet was beautiful.
Bought the game and all of the chapters (from Halloween to Saw) the next day (May 26, 2018 according to the DLC management on Steam), and have had a very inconsistent time with Huntress since.

I played Meg and I had to face Spirit, she had released one month ago, it was a disaster.
I also remember I didnt escape for the first time until my 7º game and I didnt get a hatch escape until my 23º game, it was on Lery's and at first I didnt knew what the sound was, tought it was something the Killer was doing.

I believe my first game was against a Pyramid Head on Haddonfield, with an Ebony Mori pre-nerf too, ended pretty fast and didn't have any clue what was going on at all just like my teammates.

I heard the game because of hybridpanda too. I miss the dude tbh. But when I heard about Micheal myers and Amanda in the game I stopped what I was doing and immediately pulled my credit card bought the game and halloween/saw dlc. And myersand pig was my main for a while. My first match though was as Dwight against a baby spirit I didn't know what was going on but it was fun.

I got it on Xbox game pass and started playing during Silent Hill, I don't remember my first survivor game but I do remember my first killer game. I played The Doctor not watching any videos or knowing how to play any killer. Of course, the ranking was busted when I first started playing so I went against a Red Rank SWF when I was rank 20. It was on Dead Dawg Saloon and I never played killer for a few months after that one game
