So lets talk about it. Think about your experiences and what is big problem about this game. And if you would have chance to fix it, how you would do that?

The Solo experience whether Killer or Survivor, is not fun.

The lack of a properly defined win condition to balance the game around.

Insane gap between SWF and Solo which makes this game impossible to balance.

Also Lazy/Scared to change their game devs who change couple of perks in 3 months instead of changing 20 perks weekly

Cue the survivor and killer "main" hyperbole.....

Very good points. Optimization is nightmare in this game.

-Map design is probably the number one issue.

-Balancing for low rank survivors instead of from the top down like most games. They also need to really stop looking at their flawed data so much for rationalizing their changes.

-Bad perk design. You've got some extremely unhealthy perks for the game and then the vast majority of the perk list that are just garbage. We aren't asking for the next S tier perk, but lots of these perks that get released are so completely terrible that they could literally have their numbers doubled, cooldown removed, and they would still be bad. There's fundamental misunderstanding of perks power levels and designs with whoever it is that's creating them.

-Bad priorities. They focus on things they are very unimportant as a priority while things that are extremely important can take years to change and no we're not talking about different teams here like cosmetic design and killer reworks. We're talking things like nerfing killers that aren't even remotely too strong instead of spending that time buffing some of the extremely weak and struggling killers.

-Objective times between the sides are not even on the same playing field when you look at the numbers. This however can tie back into bad map design which is part of what fuels these objective time imbalances so if maps were actually appropriately designed objective times wouldn't be as much of an issue. They could address this problem from multiple directions in other words.

-Map size. This could also go into map design but so many maps are just way too large even after their reworks.

The devs don't work fast enough when it comes to bugs and existing content.

But hey, gotta pump out that new chapter every few months!

Bad optimization is also up there.

Everything by the sounds of things 😭😂

    1. A minute and half on 1 gen is not okay.. (although solo feels a good 10 minutes) 🥱

    2. Keys - something the devs have given the survivors to use but seem to be a crime to use 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ (however these are overly used and can get ridiculous)

    3. Toolboxes - every killer will have a field day.

    4. Basically ANYTHING survivors or killers do in the game is WRONG!

the list goes on mate. But il be here all day. Do what I do, play to have fun.

That unbalanced stuff takes so long to be balanced.

Maps can be completely hated by one half of the community to the point that they’ll incur DC bans just to avoid playing on them, but they stay in the game, unchanged, for years. Add ons that cause survivors to immediately give up on the match in the first 30 seconds stay in the game for years. Perks can be absolute garbage tier and then after like 2 years of being garbage, they’ll be “buffed” by having their cooldown reduced by 3 seconds, and remain garbage tier.

Truly unfun and unbalanced things are left as-is by the devs for a long time, so then the player base blames each other for running them. (“You’re scummy for running DS/Unbreakable!” “You’re scummy for running forever Freddy!”) Which of course just makes player toxicity worse. And the meta never changes.

I think this aspect of the game is improving, they’ve changed a lot of the more pressing issues in the last year. But there’s still so much stuff that would improve the game if it were fixed (bad perks, tons of bugs, solo/SWF disparity, unbalanced maps, etc. etc. etc.).

Bugs....now to see how many the mid-chapter will cause.

Oh my where do i start?

-Map RNG/ designs: Very rarely get a map that's a perfect medium, its either dead zones with a couple of T L walls or its Pallet city and jungle gym galore

-The perk meta: As you get closer to the high ranks you'll find its gonna be the same builds over and over again. Ruin/undying/tinkerer/BBQ and Dead hard/unbreakable/borrowed/Iron will or DS. This is from most other perks being very situational or just flat out bad.

-Generators: They are the most uninteresting thing in the game and yet are the primary objective for survivors, to hold down a button while doing the occasional quick time event. They are so brain dead to do and and I feel like this is one of the reason why they tend to go so quickly, literally anyone can do them as long as they are focusing on doing them. I don't know how they could change them but it would be better if there was a little bit more thought to repairing them other than holding a button.

-Solo survivor: Its similar to playing a weak killer, you're either gonna have the time of your life and everything is just going to go in your favour or its gonna be the most painful experience you've ever had in a video game that just kills your motivation to keep playing.

-Matchmaking: Nothing much to say about this except why the hell are rank ones still getting matched with green/ yellow ranked survivors and killers?!

-The Emblem system: I'm just gonna say that despite my hours, I am not the best at survivor. The only killers I do well against are bad ones, if they know how to mind game in the slightest I am gonna go down quite quickly. And yet and I can sit comfortably at rank 1 with how easy it is to rank up with the current system which leads to crappy survivors like me being in the high ranks which makes solo survivor a nightmare. The way killers pip and depip make zero sense to me half the time. Get 2 kills and 2 hook the others= depip. Get 1 kill and 3 hooks with the gens being finished in 3 minutes= saftey pip

three things and this game would be infinitely better maybe four:

maps with no RNG so they are balanced every time for both sides and chases can’t last for the whole game

core gameplay overhaul get rid of gens or come up with a viable second objective to draw out game length so it feels tense and not a walk around a wall game get rid of hex perks they’re trash and survivors hate em killers hate when they’re destroyed 10 seconds in.

use a perk banning system so if the devs don’t nerf perks the players can negate their use also providing feed back on what perks need to be nerfed based on ban rate.

literally these three would increase playability 1000%

The poor Optimization is only the real problem for me. The awful lag every time someone opens a chest or spams a flashlight. The sloppy butcher hits are terrible. I drop so many frames that my character usually ends up running in opposite direction than I was when taking the hit. Cleansing totems either dull or hex causes lag.
